Europeans will reach the shores of Yoshi's New Island alongside Americans, after Nintendo of Europe announced a March 14 landing today. The platformer was pinned for spring in Europe, but Nintendo's penchant for a transcontinental date jumble didn't apply this time.

Nintendo also showcased the game's box art today, just in case it needed saying the 3DS game is a sequel to SNES Classic Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. To that effect, series creator Takashi Tezuka is producing the game this time around.
