Has Blizzard announced if there will be an open beta for WoD? If not, do you think that there will be one?
It's extremely unlikely that Warlords of Draenor will have an open beta. I believe the last time the World of Warcraft franchise had an open beta was before the release of the original game in 2004. WoW expansions have always been invite-only closed betas and we've seen indications that Warlords will have a much smaller beta pool than Mists by far.

I've actually placed a total moratorium on featuring Blind. People love it, we still get tips about this "hot new never-before-seen machimima" on a regular basis, but we've probably featured it over a dozen times. Enough is enough. If I could sticky Blind at the top of our page for eternity, I would do it, just to stop seeing the emails about it.
But that probably wouldn't stop them, anyway.

If your guild accepts those teenagers, then you have to accept those teenagers. That's the environment your guild has chosen. You can try mentioning your discomfort to your guild officers, but you might be in a situation where your guild just isn't a fit for you.

After BlizzCon, I was guessing sometime this summer. Considering there's no sign of the beta yet, I'm pushing my guess back to autumn. September seems about right.

It's impossible to say for sure without a glimpse at Blizzard's metrics, but I'm sure the period between content patches and expansions is when the most subscriber churn happens. For players who aren't hardcore WoW lifers, the periods when there's nothing immediately new on the horizon is when they'd bail. Some of them come back, no doubt. Others, probably not.
