Destiny beta 'begins late July' on Xbox systems
The Destiny beta takes off on Xbox One and 360 in late July, according to a trailer on the Xbox One dashboard. As per PS3 and PS4, players get beta codes by pre-ordering Bungie's shooter, while an Xbox Live Gold subscription is also required.
The Destiny beta is scheduled for a PlayStation landing on July 17, after Bungie gave PS4 players a taste of the game's persistent-world space-roving action in the alpha earlier this month. Destiny - the game proper that is - hits Xbox One, PS4, PS3 and Xbox 360 on September 9.
