WRUP: New year's resolutions edition

Happy new years, fellow WoW players! We're heading in to the first weekend of the year the same way we head into most weekends of the year -- by playing games. But we're also thinking about what 2015 has in store with our own new years gaming resolutions. So just what is Team WoW Insider playing this weekend? Keep reading to find out.

We also hope you'll chime in to let us know just what you're playing this weekend -- and what 2015 in games (and WoW!) looks like for you.

Adam Holisky (@AdamHolisky) It doesn't look like I'm going to have much time to play WoW or any other games this weekend. Lots of work to do. My WoW new year's resolution is going to be to finish the legendary quest chain. I didn't do it in Mists, and I want to do it in Warlords.

Adam Koebel (@BendakWoW) I hope to play something from my gaming backlog, maybe Alien Isolation or Shadow of Mordor. Not much WoW playing is happening right now between raids. My WoW new year's resolution is to get the 250 mounts and 150 toys achievements, and to not burn out by taking it down a notch on certain things (like worrying about alt garrisons).

Anne Stickney (@Shadesogrey) I am going to spend this weekend doing a little WoW of course, but also trying to finish Dragon Age: Inquisition -- I think I'm near the end of the story, I'm just running around finishing all the stuff I didn't finish first because I'm a completionist, sue me. New Year's resolution for WoW ... I think probably to go back and complete all the stuff I haven't done yet. There's a lot I missed in Mists of Pandaria, and I kind of want to go back and finish it all out, partially for mounts, mostly just to do it.

Dan O'Halloran (@danoh) I've focused on my monk alt since WoD launch, but have done just about everything with him in the new expansion. I just got my druid that I've played since vanilla launch to 100 so raiding and heroics for me this weekend as well as picking up a few more followers. My WoW resolution is to catch up on battle pets. Right now I'm battling the Pet Master in Westfall so...progress!

Elizabeth Harper (@faience) I'm working on killing all the dragons in Dragon Age: Inquisition... there are less of them than in WoW, so I think I've got a good shot of managing it. In WoW, I've kind of been bored since hitting max level but I'm working on leveling up my battle pets. Last year I knocked a big achievement off my long-term to-do list and finally finished up Loremaster. This year I think I should tackle Zookeeper... which, come to think of it, I really should have done while I was doing Loremaster. Oh well....

Kristin Marshall (@kristin) I will raid this weekend if we don't clear early. So, I hope we clear early! It'd be nice to kick back. I may try to work in another MC run before the anniversary event is over and I still haven't queued up for the Tarren Mill vs Southshore achievement. My WoW new year's resolution? Not stressing about getting everything on every alt right away. In fact, I just shouldn't stress about anything in-game at all -- it's supposed to be fun, right?

Matthew Rossi (@MatthewWRossi) I'm going to lie in bed in a sweaty state of agony and hope I don't perspire myself to death in the ironic negative twenty winter weather. I've already started. My WoW resolution? I'd have to check, but I imagine it's set pretty high, I have a good monitor.

The weekend is the perfect time to kick back, relax and enjoy some game time. Are you an achievement junkie? Can't get enough raiding? Rolling a new alt? Considering taking the leap into roleplaying? Whatever your favorite way to play

World of Warcraft, let us know in the comments what you're playing this weekend!
