Not a lot has changed here -- but Amazon's given a pretty decent upgrade to the DX, ... If you're a current DX owner, you probably won't feel any need to upgrade, but if you've been thinking about buying one, these improvements might be enough to get you to finally bite.

... its lower price makes it that much more attractive. But prospective buyers will need to consider the trade-off of purchasing this e-reader versus a multipurpose tablet like Apple's $499 iPad.

This is one of the best E-readers if seen. Nice size and a good screen. They could have left out the extra options (i.e. browser and text to speech), they are fun to play around with, but after the first week you’ll never touch them.

For my purposes (English Prof), a pen input would be really nice. Almost went with the Sony because of that, but the greater selection of books on Amazon was the deciding factor. If Amazon made a model with a stylus, I'd get it immediately.
