At this time I was unable to validate 802.11ac, but N and G protocol devices performing way more reliably.
Range expansion is noticeable better. Previously I was unable to walk far outside without connection drops, now, I can probably drive away from home, and still have stable connection.
Probably questionable (subjective) topic, as I didn't measured network speed before and now, and only relayed on LED indicators of my old router, that stated that I've a Gigabit Ethernet), but:
Huge surprise for me was an internet speed (actual page rendering speed) with a computer connected directly to the router. As previously and now I had a Gigabit Ethernet router and proper cables, but now its like twice, if not more, faster.
