It's everything Apple TV should have been when it launched, complete with audio and video podcasts, Flickr and .Mac integration and—most importantly—movie rentals without a computer.

Apple TV is okay out of the box. Very easy to rent movies and play music from iTunes collection. I hacked Boxee into it and now it really rocks. I love Boxee on Apple TV!

Take a look at the newer Apple TV. Great for streaming things. The hard drive on this Apple TV is pretty useless, as the content I need is always on my computer, and there's no need for a second storage place.
