Android 2.3 Gingerbread is a good OS but it's not as polished as ICS or JB. Gingerbread offers some hardware support that makes the OS more functional.

A forgettable product. It isn't bad, exactly, but also doesn't do anything particularly well. - Engadget

Froyo, 2.2, brought us JIT compilation. Gingerbread 2.3 brings us the programmable pipeline for OpenGL ES via shaders, as well as concurrent GC and enhanced support for native code. With these features implemented, Android became a mature platform in my opinion (on phone form factors, at least).

First the unit fit is just ok. You have to fight with it to get it in and then it does not want to stay in. No mounting hardware just the unit and the main harness is just pieced together. Labeled will though. My Only problem is with the company that will NOT stand behind the TRASH they sell.
