Given the choice between the galaxy 4g and this phone, i would take the Mytouch hands down, just because it is more durable, and easier to root. and if youre not a rooted user, the 1 ghz core on the mytouch as well as the ram on the phone, is still going to perform faster than their galaxy...

TMobile's MyTouch 4G is one great phone. There are no lags at all, pages load fast, and the HSPA+ network is very, very fast. This is my new everyday phone...I'm switching from a Moto Droid.

Love the phone hate the company that made it(HTC), I personally will never buy another HTC phone again as long as it has all the uninstallable bloatware, and the crappy UI HTC keeps installing. All I ask for is good are ware(what HTC makes) and a good OS(stock Android). Plus the lack of updates...

It's a good phone, it's kept up all this time. Not thrilled that it isn't supporting newer versions of Android, but that's probably T-Mobile or HTC's call and not a limitation of the phone. It's been helpful to have the wifi hotspot as an option also.
