The G35 is a great headset, and the more I used it, the more I came to rely on it as the “real” sound of a game...games begged to be used with this thing. $130 isn’t too much to pay if you’re someone who enjoys the cinematic experience of gaming and watches surround-sound content on your PC. quote

Logitech’s first high-end surround-sound gaming headset is a stunning display of the company’s comfort with its gaming line image and its prowess in the audio equipment category.

The Logitech G35 is a capable headset, but at $130 it's too pricey for what you get. The surround sound it boasts is ineffectual and, while it sounds very good in general, bass is lacking.

If you're looking for a good headset to complement your gaming, the Logitech G35s are excellent — but keep them in stereo mode, and leave the surround sound for speakers.

Everything USB May 20, 2009

Although Logitech's first foray into surround sound headsets sounds incredible, compatibility issues with certain games and the lack of fine-grained control seen in every other G-series product leaves a lot to be desired for the asking price.

... jam-packed with features including Dolby surround sound; user-definable profiles; a spring-steel headband; and a USB interface that keeps the audio signal in the digital domain until it reaches the headphones...The bulk of these hefty headphones quite literally outweighs many of the benefits.

Many people will find the Logitech G35 PC gaming headset to be exactly what they are looking for because of all the extra features, whereas others will want something a little more practical. The audio is good, the space age design looks cool and the customization is unique.

The G35 is a relatively new introduction to Logitech's gaming-pitched G-range. One of its selling points is Dolby Headphone 7.1 surround simulation, and is styled to share the aggressive angled lines of the rest of the G peripherals. - P R O D U C T O U T L I N E - The G35 is a USB-only...

For the price I think it's the best headset you can get. The only down side that I find, is the cord, it's horrible. Very stiff and after half year of using, it's still not strait, all bent. The best feature of it is that it works on OS X almost perfectly. All the buttons and mic are working...

Mainly, i wanted an headphone the i could use to play online. After a few searches, i decided to go with the G35, since Logitech never made me unhappy. The setup was quite simple. just connect the usb and it's working. Windows 7 detected it very quickly. If you decide to install the Logitech...

Over all a good headset. I enjoy playing with the voice changer program that came with it. Other than the issue of the comfort after extended use. I love this headset.

Since I share a small apartment with my partner, I inevitably have to game with headphones. After hearing about the A40 and X41 headsets on the podcast, I thought I would take a look at what Dolby Headphone headsets were on offer that were well suited to PC gaming. It appeared that the A40s could...
