It's hard enough keeping track of your own passwords, let alone your family's. Unless you plan on outfitting your brood with biometric rings, your best bet is to sign up to a password managing tool. That way you can keep track of the logins your clan is racking up, and even reference them to create unique passwords in the future. Most popular services, such as 1Password, already offer family plans. And soon that small list will include LastPass too.

AgileBits isn't done sprucing up 1Password just because it released a much-needed Android upgrade; it's also showing some love to the Windows version of its secure account manager. The just-launched 1Password 4 for Windows catches up on features in a big way, including the browser extension previously seen only on the Mac. You're now just a shortcut away from fetching credentials or generating an extra-complex password. The revamp also brings WiFi syncing, multiple vaults and a service that warns you when hackers compromise a site.

We're still waiting for Time Warner to bring its live TV streaming to Android, but the platform is enjoying some exclusive support today with two new apps. The first is the My TWC account management app which lets subscribers view their services, pay bills, adjust call forwarding and, soon, tap into their voicemail remotely. The other one is a new version of its TWC TV app, reformatted to work on phones even while the TWCable TV app on iOS is still a tablet only affair. iPhone and Android owners alike shouldn't have to wait long for their relief however, as the iPhone edition is slated to arrive in January, and ICS-enabled live TV streaming is still on the roadmap for "early next year." Hit up the corporate blog for the full feature lists and breakdowns, or just head over to the Android Market to install either free app.

PlayStation 3 owners were greeted by firmware update v1.11 this morning. Aside from customary security tweaks, the mandatory download installs the new 'Account management' network feature, allowing users to add money to their virtual wallets without accessing the store. That's it? That's it, officially.

Apparently an error caused US accounts that should have been automatically renewed on April 20th or 21st to not be renewed - meaning some of you have been encountering a cryptic "Prepaid Time Expired" error when attempting to login, despite the fact that your payment information is accurate and up to date.  To fix it, for now, just go to the account management page and re-enter your payment information by clicking "Change Payment Method."  Of course, a lot of players are likely attempting to access the same page, which means you may have trouble getting there...
