Archos 605 WiFi gets FCC approval
Archos's 605 WiFi device is hardly the secret it once was, but the device has just passed through a key step on the way to availability, snagging the much-need FCC stamp of approval. In case you missed it, the 605 is among the current crop of 5G Archos devices, looking much like the previous-gen 604 but boasting a few notable additions, including a higher resolution screen and increased capabilities (YouTube support among them). Of course, there's little left for the FCC to reveal that we didn't already know, but those curious to see how the device performed in its tests can bask in the details at the link below.
