When a list of canceled Blizzard titles emerged at this year's DICE, MTV's Stephen Totilo noticed one game conspicuously absent: Starcraft Ghost, which we probably all assumed was dead. But Blizzard co-founder Frank Pearce told MTV "It never was technically canceled. It's just a focus thing for us right now." ... Umm, confirmed?Yes, we've heard rumblings about a Ghost rebirth before, but so far absolutely nothing has come of it. That leaves us with one question: If a game almost assuredly isn't coming out in your lifetime, isn't it pretty much canceled anyway?

Game | Life managed to grab a little face time with Yannis Mallat, the head honcho at Ubisoft Montreal (Prince of Persia, Splinter Cell). They grilled him about all manner of subject in the gaming industry, but what we care about mainly was his words in regards to Nintendo's Wii console, and if we would be seeing any new Wii games from the company."And right now, we are developing some other Wii titles that we are going to be able to talk about soon," Mallat commented. When asked further about big budget titles having a chance to thrive on the console, Mallat said that those titles are possible for the Wii, but developing for the console is something that needs to be heavily considered. "That console specifically has to be thought of in the same way that it's been produced and designed," he said, adding "when it comes time to make games. And when you hit the right balance, success will just follow."We don't know about you, but we're excited to hear more about these mystery games.

When we reported on the possibility of a game based on indie hit Juno, we're sure most of you complained internally that unwanted teen pregnancy doesn't exactly make for good game fodder. To you we say this: 1. You must not have played Mega Man X 37: Unwanted Teen Pregnancy. 2. You don't have to worry, because 1UP reports that the game isn't actually on the way.Apparently the whole thing was based on a misunderstanding that's really too convoluted to relay here. Besides, we're sure Brash Games is going to be snapping the idea up any moment now, so there's really no cause for concern.
