ESPN ScoreCenter gets iPhone makeover
Just in time for the NFL playoffs and college football bowl games, ESPN has introduced a new version of the free ESPN ScoreCenter app. Version 3.0 of the app brings iOS 6 and iPhone 5 optimization, but the biggest change is to the overall design of ESPN ScoreCenter. It's now easier to navigate through the app to view personalized scoreboards and other content targeted to your favorite teams and the games that are important to you. This is the first update to the widely used app since August, when ScoreCenter received support for video push notifications.
LG Spectrum gets ESPN ScoreCenter App, Exclusive 720p video
We're here at the LG press conference at CES and ESPN's Michael Bayle's just dropped the HD bomb. The LG Spectrum will come with the broadcaster's ScoreCenter app and will broadcast exclusive 720p HD content, whilst all other phones will pump out those field goals in SD only. The Spectrum launches on January 19th on Verizon, for all your Stewart Scott needs.
