Crush Tiny Titan's spirits in Madden 15 challenge

By now, you might have heard of Tiny Titan, one of the more adorable glitches to pop up recently in the Madden NFL series. The little sprout of a linebacker has the heart of a champion, but also has troubles fielding kick-offs and tackling runners. Rather than ignore the glitch entirely, EA Sports opted to turn Tiny Titan into a Madden Ultimate Team solo challenge in Madden 15. Those that log in to the card-collecting, team-building mode this weekend can play against a special Browns squad on rookie difficulty with the miniature phenom leading the defense. We'd say he bites on play action passes, but it's really more of a nibble. Beating the challenge gives players a Tiny Titan collectible item that can be sold for 1,000 coins, if you don't have any kindness left in your soul. [Image: EA Sports]

It's true, a team of researchers have created a one-cubic-millimeter throwaway camera, and if they have their way, it could be peeking inside you in the next year. The new tiny shooters, which sport a 250 x 250 pixel resolution, are created using a streamlined process in which the lens and sensor wafers are affixed before being cut into a series of 28,000 little cameras -- eliminating the need to mount and wire each one individually. This new mode of production cuts back on cost significantly, allowing physicians to throw away the little guys after routing around in your intestines. According to the camera's creators, their diminutive invention could make its way into your doctor's office as early as 2012.

Since today seems to be all about tiny little details of the iPhone, why not continue that trend? Blogger Paul Kedrosky shares something interesting an iPhone user told him. While composing an email the iPhone will insert the signature 'Sent from my iPhone' at the bottom of the message (I am sure you can turn this off if you like). Taking a page from Blackberry's book, Apple wants people to know that their friends are using iPhones. Now, if you want to convince people that you have an iPhone ahead of schedule simply add 'Sent from my iPhone' at the bottom of all your emails. No one will be the wiser. Thanks, Nik (from whom I also snagged the graphic for this post).

  • The Short Cuts entry that better freaking win

We thought we'd given up posting Nintendo Short Cuts entries as a veritable flood of applicants submitted their works shortly before the deadline, but sister site Joystiq posted one that's simply way, way too good. The above "movie trailer" for the NES classic Punch-Out!! is rife with 8-bit references, as the creators shrewdly blend recognizable game artwork into live-action scenes. The acting (especially Von Kaiser's) is top-notch, production values sky-high, and the music made us replay the last minute of the trailer nine times just to rock out. If Hollywood really knew what was up, this would have been made instead of the lukewarm Rocky Balboa last year. We officially stamp our vote of approval on Team Awesome, and wish them the best of luck. They probably won't need it.

  • Weekly Webcomic Wrapup: little big edition

There's somewhat of a correlation between using the descriptive little and the premise of big, enormous landscapes of creativity. Of course, LittleBigPlanet is one prime example. Recall even Little Nemo, an old children's book which spawned a decent licensed video game, The Dream Master. (We wouldn't mind seeing that on the Virtual Console, Capcom.) And we find Mario Galaxy so strangely familiar because the concept of jumping between a vast array of mini-planets is a concept we remember from Le Petit Prince (The Little Prince). This has nothing to do with webcomics; here are our picks for the best gaming comics. Be sure to vote for your favorite, and let us know of any gems we missed this week! Juice, that was a good one Hey! Listen! The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess was in development for approximately, oh, say, forever. That intensely long cycle, besides making a game epic and wonderful and amazing, usually gives rise to an extreme attention to detail. Some savvy forum-goers have compiled a list of little easter eggs for your enjoyment, which can be found after the jump. How many of these did you find, or even notice? Do you feel as though these little details even make a difference in the overall gaming experience? We ourselves find that we're occasionally drawn back to the world of Hyrule for a few minutes, just to feel that epic sense of adventure ... or maybe it was just those bomb arrow fireworks.

It's late at night, so the more risque Fanboy stuff starts getting posted. This amazing video shows you footage from Soft Skin English School Little Sexy Girl, a program that teaches you English. Or tries to. By showing you near-naked girls. There's a hilarious mini-game, where you play rock paper scissors, and every time you win, the girl takes an article of clothing off. You won't see naughty bits, but this is absolutely not safe for work. So, the video is after the cut.*Picture completely unrelated. Well, it shows you yet another inappropriate English program for a portable device.
