Online sneaker marketplace GOAT is rolling out an augmented reality "Try-On" feature, letting you virtually wear some of the rarest and most expensive kicks in the world, without having to stump up megabucks for the privilege. It's early days for the feature, but it adds to GOAT's roster of existing AR activities, which included unveiling pre-release Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG's in AR before they officially launched earlier this year. The company's digital ambitions have already attracted a lot of attention from more traditional sneaker retailers -- Foot Locker, for example, invested $100 million in GOAT earlier this year.
Amazon reportedly lists some toys before confirming they're safe
Some toys may appear on Amazon without being vetted for safety. According to a CNBC report, multiple third-party sellers say they were only asked for proof of safety compliance weeks after their products were listed for sale. While the practice might help speed up the listing process, it could also lead to unsafe products being sold on Amazon.
US charges three Germans over massive dark web marketplace
The US just made a dark web bust that makes AlphaBay's 400,000-user peak seem modest by comparison. Federal prosecutors have charged three unnamed Germans for allegedly operating Wall Street Market, a dark web marketplace that sold drugs, counterfeits and hacking software to more than 1.15 million customers. The trio reportedly maintained the site, including transactional chats, forums and financial transactions.
Facebook Marketplace lets sellers ship items across the continental US
Facebook will soon let Marketplace sellers ship items anywhere in the continental US, while you'll be able to pay for purchases directly through the platform. As such, sellers who are happy to ship their goods will be able to cater to customers on the other side of the country. Buyers, meanwhile, should have access to a broader selection of items and perhaps some peace of mind through purchase protection for eligible items.

Amazon is pulling the plug on its e-commerce marketplace for third-party sellers in China. The decision follows a long struggle by American e-commerce companies in the country, who have fallen behind China's faster shopping rivals.
Target teamed up with brands on a curated third-party marketplace
Target is expanding its third-party offerings with the launch of a new online marketplace called Target+. Unlike its Amazon counterpart that takes applications to sell from any brand or vendor, though, Target+ is an invitation-only affair. It only sells curated items from partner companies the retail giant reached out to, which currently include sports goods maker Mizuno and educational toy maker Kaplan. The initiative won't be expanding its catalogue that much as you can tell, but the retailer plans team up with more brands in the future.
Google Express no longer works with Walmart
Walmart products are no longer available through Google Express, Google's online shopping tool. It's not clear when the change occurred, but Google Express confirmed via Twitter earlier this week that it is no longer offering products available through Walmart on its platform.
Facebook bug let apps access unposted photos for millions of users
Facebook has disclosed yet another privacy flub. This time around, it says a bug in the Photo API led to third-party apps being able to access not only timeline photos (which users had permitted them to do), but Stories, Marketplace images and photos people uploaded to Facebook but never actually shared.
