We've just received code from SCEE for an unannounced PSN title for PS3 and PSP. We were confused as to why we'd be reviewing a game before it was even announced. We realized, however, that the game has been announced -- only in Japan. It's Qruton, the bizarre chain-reaction number rotation title that appeared earlier this month. In sending us the playable code, SCEE has confirmed that the game is heading to the region, and soon. No word on whether the game is headed to America, yet, but chances seem pretty high. Check out the video above to see the game in action.[Update] Numblast will be available in Europe on June 19 for £3.99.

It's time for yet another cross-platform PlayStation Network game for both PSP and PS3. Qruton is a new puzzler hitting Japan this Summer (and later this year in America, perhaps?). The object of the game may look quite familiar: rotate blocks to get a 2x2 square of similar blocks. However, there's a big twist: when you create a 2x2 square, you'll be able to link combos by quickly rotating in new blocks into the grid. Just watch the video, and you'll see someone transform the entire screen into one massive chain. Rather impressive! It looks like fun, and you'll be able to play it in HD or on the go.[Via Siliconera]
