Twice a week, our writers will tell you more about themselves, and let you get to know them and the characters they play a little better. Click here to read more About the Bloggers. What do you do for WoW Insider?I'm a standard issues blogger, reporting on just about everything I can get my hands on. I like to concentrate on raid and high-end PvE issues, since that's where I spend most of my time in game. I've also go a few projects in the work for our sister site, Massively. I think my first article should pop up over there next week (knock on wood)...What's your main right now?My main is a Protection Spec Human Warrior on Eldre'Thalas. He's been my main since March of 2005. However, I have flirted at times with the possibility of switching to a Priest full time, but that was back in November of 2006. However that said, I also have many other alts that I give a lot of care and love. One of my favorite things to do is to run the level 70 five mans with friends, all of us running on our fourth or fifth alt. It's kinda fun!More after the break!

This may be a little off the beaten path, but we here at DS Fanboy stumbled across the DIY-online-mixtape site, muxtape, recently, and we've had a lot of fun putting together and sharing our creations. So much fun, in fact, that we decided to try to bring everyone in on it. By everyone, we mean you, our beloved readers. Create (if you haven't already) your own muxtape and share it in the comments! We've created two for you to enjoy: DJFanboy: game and game-inspired music DJFanboy2: a selection of blogger favorites -- get to know us better! And you know there's some Ace Attorney music represented. Take your objections to that one elsewhere!

Click here to read more About the Bloggers. What do you do for WoW Insider? I'm the columnist for both Blood Pact and Blood Sport. Coincidence? What's your main right now? My main is an orc Warlock - currently destro - in gear from Karazhan, Gruul's Lair and the Arenas. For the Horde or Glory to the Alliance? For the Horde!! I did dabble a little on The Other Side, but decided that Horde (on my server at least) was a little friendlier. I also can't stand being surrounded by short people, having the irrepressible urge to punt a certain dimunitive race ...

Twice a week, our writers will tell you more about themselves, and let you get to know them and the characters they play a little better. Click here to read more About the Bloggers. What do you do for WoW Insider?I first started writing for WoW Insider way back in August of aught-six, and my first post on the site wasn't even actually about World of Warcraft. A few months (and many posts) after that, I was invited to co-lead the blog with Elizabeth Harper, and nowadays (many, many posts later) I work alongside Dan O'Halloran in running the whole site and coordinating all of our talented writers, as well as posting news I find whenever possible. I've also done quite a few of the podcasts. What's your main right now?My main main is Shamanic, a level 70 resto Orc shaman on Thunderhorn (Horde-side). I also have a level 68 Undead rogue there named Punishment (best rogue name evar), and lately I've been playing a level 61 Night Elf hunter on Cenarius (who needs a guild, by the way). I've also got quite a few alts floating around, including a level 60 gnome warrior, a shadow priest who's about 50, a blood elf hunter around 30, another undead warrior around 30, and maybe twenty or so alts below that. A couple of them are, yes, paladins, but I've never been able to play them past about 25, and I've never gotten a warlock past about 15 for some reason. No idea why.Lots more (maybe too much more) after the break.

Twice a week, our writers will tell you more about themselves, and let you get to know them and the characters they play a little better. Click here to read more About the Bloggers. What do you do for WoW Insider? It seems I spend about as much time convincing the leads that I'll start blogging more any day now, really. Seriously, when I topic comes to mind I write about it. I like tossing out ideas for discussion. I've also recently resurrected Ask WoW Insider from the grave. What's your main right now?A level 70 Night Elf Hunter. I had no idea they were as ezmode as they are -- I just missed the creature handler from Star Wars Galaxies. For the Horde or Glory to the Alliance?Alliance, obviously. My story is the usual one where I had a friend on the server so I rolled there. Naturally, she didn't make it out of her starter month. Once I got over the feeling of abandonment with the help of a wonderful shrink in the Mage's Tower I was fine. I actually had two characters around the same level: the hunter and an Undead priest. When I decided to level up I flipped a coin and the priest lost. I'm still working on him as an alt, though.

Twice a week, our writers will tell you more about themselves, and let you get to know them and the characters they play a little better. Click here to read more About the Bloggers. This week features one of our "semi-alumni" bloggers, Krystalle. (She's the short one with the pink hair above -- the rest of the above folks would be some of her many guild-mates.)What do you do for WoW Insider? These days? Some back-end smacktalking helping out where you guys don't see it. I tend to float in and out giving a hand when things are quiet, and am bringing back both Reader UI and Reader WoWspace. Before I landed my current spot as one of the leads on Massively, I was a blogger here, Guild Leader & event coordinator for It Came from the Blog. I had a lot of great times with the WoW Insider readers both there and at Dragon*Con 2007, where I got to co-host several panels with Elizabeth Harper and several other great folks. (And for anyone curious, we're doing it again at Dragon*Con this year too!) What's your main right now? She's a L70 sword-specced Troll Rogue who I primarily just raid on these days. I also have a L42 Rogue that I'm bringing up, just to see how the other (dagger) side lives. Well, that and because I can't break away from the Rogues. I just love them too much.

Twice a week, our writers will tell you more about themselves, and let you get to know them and the characters they play a little better. Click here to read more About the Bloggers. What do you do for WoW Insider? I'm a regular blogger. Right now, I'm the chronically late co-writer for Know Your Lore, the paladin column The Light and How to Swing It, and the rogue column Encrypted Text. I swear to Thrall there will finally be a new KYL this week. I also contributed to Arcane Brilliance for a short time until I realized that I don't really like playing a mage. I used to do a lot of short pieces on the forums and social aspects of WoW, but due to a new work schedule, those have decreased in recent months. What's your main right now? Right now, I have no main. Kelstar, the troll rogue pictured above, was my first character and the only one I've seriously raided on. I recently leveled a blood elf protadin, Sandinista, and am in the process of building up an undead affliction warlock, Sabra. All these characters are on Magtheridon-US. Yes, I am fully aware that my gear, rep, spec, appearance and entire being suck, so don't bother to look up my characters and tell me that. Most recently, I've been working on a new class, faction and server -- Mehitabel is my lowbie night elf druid on Warsong. WTS Blood Elf Bandit Mask plz.

What's your main right now?My main character is a level 70 assassination rogue. I've tried just about every rogue build and assassination is just what I feel the most comfortable with. I also have a restoration shaman I really enjoy who is getting close to 70. (Real men level resto!) I also have a hunter in the mid-60's. For the Horde or Glory to the Alliance?Alliance all the way. I've tried Horde a few times, but it keeps giving me lower back pain.Favorite thing to do in Azeroth?I'm a compulsive Control-Clicker. I love control-clicking phat epic lootz and seeing how they look on my characters. I also get a big kick out people-watching in-game and seeing some of the silly and outrageous character and guild names people come up with. What's the best instance in the game?Scarlet Monastery. If you have enough rest and a good group you can pick up two levels in that place easy. And the resale value of the metric ton of silk you'll pick up isn't a bad perk either. The layout is predictable, and it's nearly impossible to get lost. I detest rat maze zones (Razorfen Kraul, anyone?)What's the worst instance in the game?Maraudon hands-down. I hate that place. The encounter is way too long, and it's out in the middle of nowhere in probably one of the bleakest zones in the game.

About the Bloggers is a new series on WoW Insider. Twice a week, our writers will tell you more about themselves, and let you get to know them and the characters they play a little better.Hello dear readers! I'm Eliah Hecht, and I've been blogging here at WoW Insider (and more recently at Massively as well) for a little over a year now. I've been keeping pretty busy in grad school recently, so I haven't been able to post as much. What do you do for WoW Insider? I'm a standard-issue blogger, and I also contribute to the Priest column "Spiritual Guidance." I used to write Build Shop as well, but had to give that up due to time constraints. What's your main right now? Fleur, level 70 human holy priest, Shadow Council-A.For the Horde or Glory to the Alliance? Alliance, definitely, though I'm not zealous about it. Not much of a PvPer really.Favorite thing to do in Azeroth? I enjoy all facets of PvE. Leveling, 5-mans, raiding, even grinding -- a good way to relax, if you ask me. What's the best instance in the game? I'm actually quite fond of Karazhan. Before that, I would have said Molten Core. In terms of 5-mans, I'd say Mechanar in BC and Deadmines in the classic game. What's the number one thing Blizzard could do better? Ooh, that's a tough one. I have a few issues. But if I just had to pick one, I'd say spend less effort on the top-end raiding stuff and produce more early endgame content: entry-level raiding, advanced crafting, questing, that sort of thing. Along the lines of the old Tier 0.5, but with less suck.Favorite mount? I'm a bit old-school; I like my Swift Brown Steed, although you also can't beat the convenience and speed of an epic flier.Favorite piece of loot? I like my Rogue's weapon set, Reflex Blades/Stormreaver WarbladesWhen I'm not playing WoW, I'm...studying, or watching TV, although not so much of that with the WGA strike still going on.If you had 10 more hours to play every week, what would you spend them doing? Raiding or dungeons. I love to heal.

About the Bloggers is a new series on WoW Insider. Twice a week, our writers will tell you more about themselves, and let you get to know them and the characters they play a little better. What's your main right now?Lately I've been switching between my level 70 Beast Mastery orc hunter (male), and my 50-something blood elf Holy paladin (female). For the Horde, or Glory to the Alliance?I'm definitely a Horde girl, although in the future I would like to level my Alliance characters.Favorite thing to do in Azeroth?I used to be heavily into fishing, but lately I've been spending most of my time in battlegrounds.

About the Bloggers is a new series on WoW Insider-- twice a week, our writers will tell you a little bit about themselves, and let you get to know them and the characters they play a little better. What's your main right now?A Blood Elf Warlock. For the Horde, or Glory to the Alliance? Now it's "For the Horde!" But, as you can see... I played Alliance for quite a while.Favorite thing to do in Azeroth?Almost anything, so long as I'm playing with friends and not in some awful PUG.What's the best instance in the game?I know it's old school, but I always had the most fun in BWL. Great fights, great lore, and dragons. You can't beat dragons. Well, unless you've got a team of 40 level 60s. Then I guess you can. But it's still a lot of work! What's the number one thing Blizzard could do better? It's a relatively recent problem, but giving the GM's the power to stop hacked characters from clearing out guild banks would be swell. The best way to make money in game is...Quests. I've financed 2 epic flying mounts and several regular flying mounts just by running quests. Additionally, saving money by not having any crafting professions helps...Favorite mount?Onyxien the Onyx Netherwing Drake. You can't beat a dragon.Favorite piece of loot?Hood of the Malefic, hands down. Aside from making you look like that demon guy in Legend, the wings it randomly sprouts are just awesome. When I'm not playing WoW, I'm...Usually messing around in Photoshop, these days. Tales from the Lion's Pride Inn doesn't just create itself, you know! Though that would be sweet. What accomplishment in-game are you most proud of?I'd have to go with the number of characters I have at (or very near) level 70. As of this writing, that number is 6 (almost 7).If you could add one touch of personal flair to your main, what would it be?A better looking beard. My warlock needs something more evil.If you had 10 more hours to play every week, what would you spend them doing?I would spend them wondering what law of physics I had to break to play more than 168 hours a week. My hope is that it's not one of the important laws, and that the physicists don't prosecute.
