Sure, you could just buy a "carrying solution" for the new square iPod nano, but where's the fun in that? Wired shows you how to turn your old wristwatch into a nanowatch -- just take the old strap off, and use the nano's clip to attach it all together. Of course, it depends on your old watch strap, but even if yours doesn't work quite as well as the one that Wired uses, I'm sure a weekend with some Crazy Glue and a few spare parts would probably do it right. Brian Chen is exactly right -- Apple should totally get behind this nanowatch thing. Add some apps and a camera to the nano's little square touchscreen, and that'd turn it into the real Dick Tracy product. I think it'll take a while (Apple likely doesn't want to fragment the iOS line too much too quickly), but I think that, as more applications pop up for a small touchscreen device like this, we might eventually see Apple unlock a little more possibility with it.

It's been over a week, folks, and Nintendo has issued the first of many self-congratulatory press releases concerning the Wii. Eight days after launch, the Wii has sold more than 600,000 units in North America. Furthermore, their flagship title The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess has sold 454,000 copies, achieving a rather ridiculous 75.67% attach rate to the console itself. Nintendo seems to be holding fast to their claim to ship four million units worldwide by year's end, and many expect the company to deliver close to 200,000 units weekly to North American outlets. Not quite enough, though, is it?On the eBay front, 27,000 Wii units have been sold in auction at an average price of $412.53. For comparison, only 15,000 PS3 units were sold (at an average price of $1186.39). Take that, PS3 eBay people! Well, we suppose an average profit of around $500.00 after shipping and tax isn't too bad. The Wii is still very much one of the hottest items of the holiday season, and sell-outs should be expected at least through the end of the holiday season. Good luck, Wii-goers!

I haven't tested this yet, but Make a Delivery sounds like a handy little Automator action that will create a .dmg file from the Finder items you have selected, then attach that .dmg to an email. One quirky thing, however, is that you have to move a resource folder into your Applications directory; it isn't just an action that you can use or turn into a right-click Finder plugin. In any case, if you prefer an easy way to create .dmg's for emailing (instead of zip archives), Make a Delivery might be just what you need.
