This awesome robot is created by engineering with a level requirement of 600, creating a summonable robot known as Blingtron 4000. He can only be summoned give you a gift once per day, and hangs around being generous for about ten minutes, giving away his Blingtron 4000 Gift Packages to anyone who talks to him. As commenters pointed out (thanks!) he can be summoned every 4 hours. The exciting thing is that these packages can contain all manner of different items, from potions to amazing things that offer profession skill-ups to steamy romance novels about falling in love with robots. Presumably, robots who love a bit of bling, and are generous types. Robots with one earring, blue-green eyes, and fixed smiles... Mists of Pandaria is here! The level cap has been raised to 90, many players have returned to Azeroth, and pet battles are taking the world by storm. Keep an eye out for all of the latest news, and check out our comprehensive guide to Mists of Pandaria for everything you'll ever need to know.

There is, it has to be admitted, a market for diamond-encrusted Apple products. Having the good taste to buy something magical and revolutionary doesn't necessarily mean you have good taste full stop. So, for those of you with more (way, way more) money than sense who live at the blingier end of the Apple marketplace, we present the ZShock Lunatik iPod nano watch case (the clue's in the name). Yes, for a mere US$18,000 and a three- to four-week wait, ZShock will "hand-set the diamonds into pave settings on the white gold watch case" of your iPod nano watch, Boy Genius (who seems to quite like this, strangely) tells us. Is it just me or does the nano in this picture look sort of embarrassed?

  • Authentication problems for non-Battle.net users tonight

We've started getting a few emails regarding the authentication servers. Apparently there are issues again tonight! None of us on staff were actually running into any trouble, so we assumed it was just an anomaly until we saw this thread. From reading through it, it appears that the reason none of us on staff had problems was because we had all converted to Battle.net accounts, and this time around only those that haven't converted are running into problems. Fancy that!Blizzard is aware of the problem, and seem to be actively investigating it. Keep an eye on the linked thread for updates, and if you want a quick fix to get on and play the game tonight... just convert to Battle.net and you'll be on in no time. And for the record, when you write in about server outages? If we haven't posted about something yet, it doesn't help you to accuse us of being paid off by Blizzard. We can dream of a bright future where Blizzard showers us with money, but no, that hasn't happened yet. It's much more likely that we just don't know.
