With no video wrap-up, today's VC Monday Madness will be slightly lacking in the madness department, but only in that one aspect. The video should be here tomorrow when our resident guy-who-gets-to-do-that returns. But in the other, more important consideration-- the games that came out this week-- today's Virtual Console Update is craaaaaaaaaazy. Four games hit the download service today, each and every one a total winner. Well, except for Donkey Kong Jr. Math, we guess. But it's pretty entertaining as a novelty. Still not entertaining enough to pass over Bonk 3 for, but it's your money. Adventure Island (NES, 1 player, 500 Wii Points) Donkey Kong Jr. Math (NES, 1-2 players, 500 Wii points) Landstalker: The Treasures of King Nole (Sega Genesis, 1 player, 800 Wii points) Bonk 3: Bonk's Big Adventure (Turbografx-16, 1-2 players, 600 Wii points)

Just two releases this week for European gamers on the Virtual Console, and they're certainly pretty different. One is the casino game that featured interesting interaction via random encounters (and also, hey, gambling), and the other is, well, Bonk. Either of these sound like something that might tickle your particular fancy? Bonk 3: Bonk's Big Adventure -- Turbografx -- 600 Wii points Vegas Stakes -- SNES -- 800 Wii points

Australia's Office of Film and Literature Classification has looked into the company crystal ball and delivered a prophecy of new Virtual Console games. Bonk 3: Bonk's Big Adventure, Cratermaze, Dead Moon, J.J. and Jeff, and World Sports Competition are destined for the Australian Virtual Console. Do things download We don't have Bonk 3 or Cratermaze yet in the US, and it looks like Australia's going to get the VC versions first. It's only fair, we suppose, since the real HuCards were actually sold here at one point.[Via GoNintendo]
