We want this Fallout 3 Brotherhood of Steel costume
OK, we're sure this has been floating around the tubes for a bit, but we're more than happy to devote some attention to the very cool Brotherhood of Steel costume you see above. Made out of awesome and love (probably some foam and paint in there too), the beautiful homage to Fallout 3 was apparently completed back in March.After seeing this, we don't feel so bad about losing that auction for the 7'10" Brotherhood of Steel statue. Following up on a previous story, we can now tell you that the bidding on the most virile lawn ornament this side of the Apocalypse ended last night. The Sam's Club auction for a 7'10" (2.38 meter) tall, 121 lb. (54.9 kilo), "Brotherhood of Steel" statue concluded with a winning bid of $2,507 (which includes free shipping).A part of us is curious as to who bought it, and another wants to see the statue once it arrives in its new home. But then, we start picturing it next to the winner's collection of life-sized Star Wars figures from The Sharper Image and the whole thing just gets creepy.

A 7'10" (2.38 meter) tall "Brotherhood of Steel" statue is currently on auction at the Sam's Club site. The bidding for the 121 lbs. (54.9 kilo) monster will end on Nov. 11 at 6:30PM Pacific, or on Judgment Day, whichever comes first.Best of luck to the bidders, and don't forget to check your respective shipping charges (that's where the hidden costs are).
