HTC HD7 greets Black Friday with a Buy One Get One Free offer from T-Mobile
Been feeling blue this holiday season? Finding all the special offer WP7 phones a little too little? Fear not, T-Mobile and Microsoft are ready to give you a pair of HD7s for the price of one next time you drop into one of the Magenta stores asking about Windows Phone 7 devices. You'll need to commit to the usual two-year contract and whatnot, but it's a straight up BOGO on what's probably the most desirable handset sporting Microsoft's new OS on the American market. Then again, even with this discount, you still might be able to find the HD7 cheaper at online retailers, so as per usual on Black Fridays, we'd advise doing your due diligence before letting your dead presidents out for a walk. And please, try not to think of how sweet a day this could have been if Dell's Venue Pro had actually been released on schedule. [Thanks, David]
Verizon sweetens Samsung Fascinate deal with Buy One Get One Free offer
Yes, that fateful day is upon us, the Samsung Fascinate has made its debut on Verizon's online store pages, and it's arrived with a quite unusual (for a top tier handset) sweetener. When buying one Fascinate, you're given the option to obtain a second one for free. Well, the hardware would be free, you'd need two-year commitments on both phones with a minimum monthly data plan of $29.99 a piece, but it's still the nicest thing Verizon's done for us since it started throwing out free Pixi Pluses with purchases of Palm's webOS handsets. You should also bear in mind your initial outlay here is a quite lofty $400, with two separate $100 mail-in rebates bringing the cost down. So it's free in pecuniary terms, but probably not free of headaches. [Thanks, Mike]

As expected, Apple has sent out a quick reminder that the annual discount offer for college students -- buy a new Mac, get a free iPod touch -- is expiring September 7. While this date was expected to coincide with the rock & roll introduction event, we now know that the big shindig will be taking place next Tuesday Wednesday, September 1. Got some money burning a hole in your pocket? Are you, or do you know a college student? Time for that new Mac, but it's running out.
Verizon's Android BOGO flier shows up, Droid Eris only free option
So the good news here is that Verizon's rumored buy-one-get-one-free deal on its Android line this weekend is shaping up to be legit -- the bad news, though, is that the most expensive (and probably most desirable) option is getting left out in the cold. Well, that's not quite true -- you'll still be able to take part in the offer if you buy a Droid, but for your free phone on the second line, you'll be stuck with a Droid Eris from HTC -- a phone that normally runs $100 instead of the Droid's $200. Of course, the Droid Eris is still a great little device, and as for Verizon, don't worry about them -- they'll get their money back. Trust us.
