Careful, don't breathe -- it might snap! We kid, we kid; the Samsung SCH-C210's magnesium and fiberglass-reinforced body should be able to stand up to the best punishment we can toss at it. As you might recall, a candybar bearing this very form was officially announced at 3GSM as the Ultra Edition 5.9, but the difference here is that the SCH-C210 is a CDMA handset destined for Korea's own SK Telecom. Features include a 2 megapixel cam, Bluetooth, media player, built-in dictionary, and something called a "pop-pin touch keypad" that vibrates the phone ever so gently when the user presses a key as a means of feedback. Needless to say, we'll never see this particular variant of the Ultra Edition 5.9 in the US, but with any luck, we imagine we should be able to get our hands on the GSM version at some point.

If you're feeling the screenless, shirt-pocket-friendly DAP design, but want a bit more utility / expandability than what's offered in Apple's 2G Shuffle, NOVOMAX has just the thing. The Joypot CP C210 sports a palm-sized enclosure, weighs just 25 grams, and comes sans internal memory if you choose, or you can pick it up with 64MB, 128MB, 256MB, 512MB, or 1GB of internal storage. For those toting more than a couple records, you can store the excess on an SD, miniSD, or MMC card, and the unit also doubles as a card reader for transferring any files from one device to another or to your computer's HDD. Featuring USB 2.0 connectivity, the JP C210 also touts five built-in equalizer modes, "about ten hours" of battery life on a single AAA cell, and (unsurprisingly) comes in black or white color schemes. There's no information regarding pricing or availability as of now, but if this thing can manage to undercut Apple's littlest rendition, it'd be hard to not recommend.[Via Slashgear]

If you woke up this morning craving a bit of Merom juice in a 12.1-inch tablet then check the TravelMate C210 from Acer. Like the C200, the "Vista Premium Ready" C210 features a sliding-track to easily move from slate-style tablet to keyboard mode. Inside you'll get a range of Intel's new Core 2 Duo procs, 256MB GeForce Go 7300 graphics, 802.11a/b/g WiFi, up to 4GB of DDR2 memory and 160GB "or higher" (whatever that means) disk, and fingerprint reader for a bit of security when left behind at happy hour. Slap in an optical drive and 6-cell battery and you're looking at a 5.5-pound tablet. Sorry, no ship date or price yet but you can expect this to cost about the same as the C200 it's replacing, or about $1900.[Via laptoping]
