Our friends over at Joystiq have uncovered some video of a brand new character coming to the Street Fighter for iPhone game from Capcom. Camy is going to bring her camouflaged legs to the fighting game, and she's coming for free -- Capcom is going to include the character in a soon-to-be-released update to the game. Obviously a free character is great and all, but this seems weird. We assume that the character's coming in a free update, and since Capcom is announcing it, it's probably a safe assumption that it's up for Apple's approval. We were told in an interview earlier this year that the game just didn't have enough "memory" for more characters. Maybe Capcom has fixed some performance issues and found a way to get another character in there -- or maybe the original translation we got wasn't quite right. At any rate, say hi to Camy -- if you own the game, she'll be on your iPhone soon.

  • Camy's Light Sword Wiimote holsters Jedi things up a notch

With all the Wiimote couplings currently making the rounds, we're bound to see a few lightsabers out there. Of course, this is where Camy's Pro Gear Wii Light Swords come into play. The colored plastic Wiimote holders are available in three "ultra bright" colors -- including the red "Dark Knight," which we're almost positive is a copyright infringement. Nevertheless, the swords will cradle your Wiimote lovingly, with ample room for the IR signal to make its way to your console. Should you desire, you can flip a switch and light up the night sky with your fear-inducing -- yet rather stubby -- laser blade. Sure, we've seen similar, but these come in green. The swords are slated for a May / June release, no word on price.[Via IGN]

Think you can make a better faceplate than the people of Camy? They want you to prove yourself, as they're holding a contest to find the next Camy design. The winner will get four faceplates featuring their design (because y'know, we like to buy more than one?). But, you won't get any royalties. Hrm.If you're still willing to partake in this contest, and don't mind feeling a bit snubbed for your efforts, head over to Acid Mods for the full details.[Thanks, grandpasmurf!]

  • CAMY introduces "dual injection" faceplates

Remember how sweet-looking those Signature series PSPs were? Well, CAMY is offering you a cheaper alternative: faceplates that use their "dual injection" technique. Don't start rolling up your sleeves, though. According to their website, "CAMY PRO GEAR™ faceplates are actually created using two individual layers, the colour layer and the clear outer layer, just like the official SONY PSP™ stock faceplate."Theoretically, this is supposed to make installation easier ... which is much appreciated, considering how much trouble I had installing the invisibleSHIELD many months ago.
