Vita Street Fighter X Tekken has cross-platform online multiplayer with PS3 [update: screens and video]
If you have Street Fighter X Tekken on the PlayStation Vita, you'll be able to compete not only against other Vita players but against PS3 players as well. Capcom went to Rome last week to reveal PS3/Vita crossplay for the fighter, using both Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity. Some of those PS3 players will be using arcade sticks. Good luck!Street Fighter X Tekken on Vita will also have touch controls. Lost Planet 3 coming in 2013 from Spark Unlimited
The proverbial lid on Capcom's annual Captivate news has lifted over the past 12 hours, with trailers for Devil May Cry, Resident Evil 6, and now, Lost Planet 3 surfacing. Wait, that last one's not an announced game! Hot dog! Spark Unlimited (Legendary, Call of Duty: Finest Hour) is putting together a third Lost Planet for Capcom, heading to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC in "early 2013." It seems Spark is ditching the sultry locales of Lost Planet 2 for the frozen wastelands of the first game, at least as far as this trailer is concerned. It also seems there'll be some sort of a giant storm to deal with during your return trip to Capcom's misplaced orb. Resident Evil 6 gets new October 2 release date in leaked trailer
What happens when you have a big ol' press event in Italy? Apparently, you get Resident Evil 6 trailers with Italian subtitles. This latest trailer pushes up Resident Evil 6's release date from November 20 to October 2.In case you're in a situation that prevents streaming video, you should also know that the third protagonist (aka "the man who's told to save the world") is Albert Wesker's son. The trailer is rife with high-level RE drama, ending on a standoff between the perfectly coiffed Leon S. Kennedy and the significantly gruffer Chris Redfield.
