Trine publisher Nobilis has been added to the collection of companies selling their good old games on GOG. Right away, one of its most recognizable franchises has been added to the DRM-free stormfront: Moto Racer -- the only motorcycle racing series developed by Another World's Delphine Software. The first Moto Racer, offering superbike and motocross events, is available for download now at a price of $5.99. The second and third games will follow "soon." Along with the Nobilis games, GOG has also released Chaser, a 2003 FPS by Cauldron Ltd, starring an amnesiac trapped on a spaceship and unaware of why he's being pursued by other occupants.

  • Cabela's Dangerous Hunts 2011 is about more than just shooting animals

Shake off that sense of deja vu. We're talking about a different Cabela's game here: Activision has just announced Cabela's Dangerous Hunts 2011, the next installment in its iterative series of hunt-em-down-and-shoot-em-ups. It's set to stalk retail shelves "late fall" and will be available on the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii and DS systems. Every version sans the DS installment will come packed with the Top Shot Elite controller, a wireless gun peripheral created by the same people at Activision who brought you the Guitar Hero controllers. Activision is apparently putting a lot of production value into this latest Cabela's title, tapping Brad Santos, screenwriter and creative director, to pen the tale of Cole Rainsford, who has joined his estranged father in the African safari to hunt dangerous animals terrorizing local villages there. See, kids? Hunting is a noble pursuit. Feel free to track some screens from the upcoming game (and the controller) in our gallery below. If you prefer your game a bit more lively, then head past the break for a teaser trailer. %Gallery-98550%

Insider Trader is your inside line on making, selling, buying and using player-made products.Last week, Insider Trader examined the factions that a new tailor in Outland will need to buddy up to, including what recipes they had to offer, and how far you'd need to go. Today, we will continue through the series with the following guide to faction recipes for alchemists in Outland. Here is the quick breakdown of what you will need to grind: Honored with Honor Hold or Thrallmar. Honored with the Violet Eye (Kara). Revered with Kurenai or Mag'har. *This one may not be worth it. Revered with Scryers. Aldor has nothing for alchemists. Exalted with the Cenarion Expedition. Exalted with Sporeggar. Exalted with Lower City. Exalted with Shattered Sun. Exalted with the Sha'tar. Exalted with the Keepers of Time.

  • Insider Trader: Alchemy, the final stretch

Insider Trader is your inside line on making, selling, buying and using player-made products. While alchemy is certainly not the most flashy or popular profession out there, alchemists are an integral part of the game, and any guild worth its salt has at least one, preferably several, working to supply guildmates and fill the guild bank with stacks of consumables and transmuted items. This week's leveling guide will feature the usual cheapest route, and the most useful, to 375 for solos and casuals. For those of you who will be working for your guild (and hopefully are also being financed, or supported by herbalists), we'll show you how to reach 375 by making the most useful items. They might cost more, but your guild will be requiring them anyway, so you might as well get your skill points that way, rather than making stacks of items you won't be using.

If you're the type of player who finds cauldrons useful, then you probably already know about them – and if you have no idea what they're for, you probably have no use for them. But Insider Trader is the Martha Stewart of WoW Insider – we happen to think that any tool that helps other players take responsibility for their vitals is, as Martha would say, a Good Thing. So let's talk about the so-called pot o' pots.Cauldrons are the alchemical, resistance-pot equivalent of a warlock's soulwell. The alchemist creates a bubbling cauldron that other raid members can click on to receive a major resistance potion from one of the various schools of magic – there are cauldrons for each type of magic except for Holy. Cauldrons can turn out 25 potions over a five-minute duration, a decided improvement over creating, carrying and handing out that many individual pots (and quite a bit cheaper than making even less than half the number of normal major protection pots).Read more about cauldrons, as well as a handy tip about how to use multiple healthstones (yes, that's more than one at a time), after the jump.

  • New Soldier of Fortune, with new dev, coming via Activision Value

Rumors of a new Soldier of Fortune game have been confirmed by Activision. Speaking to GameSpot, the publisher said that the shooter is "being developed in Minnesota" and would be released on their Activision Value label. You know who's not in Minnesota? Madison, Wisconsin-based Raven Software, who developed the previous two Soldier of Fortune titles. Former Raven employee Kenn Hoekstra posted on Blue's News forums that that there was a new developer. The only clue we have comes from an anonymous source via Firing Squad, who states that it will be developed by Cauldron, who previously created History Channel: Civil War FPS for Activision Value in 2006.No other details are available, though all signs (especially that glowing, neon sign that says Activision Value) point to a disappointing, budget-priced revisit to a quality franchise.
