New XIII game coming, presumably without David Duchovny
To dispense with the information we are obligated to convey: Developer Anuman has announced the development of a new game based on the comic book series XIII. Apart from the title, XIII: Lost Identity, all we know is that it's coming to Mac, PC, iPhone and iPad this November. Now, let's get to the important part. Among the many things we don't know about XIII: Lost Identity, the most pressing detail is obviously the potential involvement of David Duchovny, who starred in Ubisoft's XIII way back in 2003. We've discussed our lingering, perhaps unsettling love of The X-Files here on Joystiq before, so we're considering this a top priority. Maybe it's not "cool," but sometimes we like to pretend that The X-Files is still on the air. Playing a DVD every Sunday night at 9:00 (8:00 Central) is easy. During the week, however, actually pretending the show is still relevant can be tough. Now, thanks to GoG.com, it just got a little easier. The site has just added XIII, a 2003 cel-shaded shooter starring none other than Agent Mulder himself, David Duchovny. And yes, we realize that The X-Files ended in 2002, before XIII was even released, but as we've established, we like to pretend.
