The perks of living in a big city, eh? Citizens of Chicago, New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco are being treated to some three-dimensional March madness from the guys and gals at Nintendo. For the remainder of this month, Ninty's 3DS handheld will be available to try and play in so-called Demo Pods (see above) at strategic locations in each marquee city. The Mii Maker app, nintendogs + cats, Madden NFL Football, Aslphalt 3D, and a selection of other games will be preloaded and waiting for you, letting you have a taste of what's to come on March 27th. See Nintendo's PR after the break for the full details.

Though it's not quite as "nationwide" as the Pokemon Black and White mall tour, Nintendo is giving residents of some US cities the opportunity to sample the 3DS and some of its games before release, through a four-city demo tour. From March 11 through April 3, interested gamers in NYC, Chicago, San Francisco, and LA will have the opportunity to enter the scary-sounding "Nintendo 3DS Demo Pod," seen above in a picture shared on Twitter, and try Face Raiders, the Mii Maker (with the option to upload the created Mii to Facebook), and other built-in features, and play launch games including Pilotwings Resort, Steel Diver, Nintendogs + Cats, Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition, and more. Find the full schedule after the break -- and sorry, most of the country!

  • Sony Ericsson's Z660i in the flesh, maybe

We saw this pic back in December, and it turns out it was dragged out of a video on the Sony Ericsson site, wow, we're definitely liking what we've seen so far. The video is a demo tour of the supposed Z660i or "Becky" showing off a few of its features -- though no specs of course -- from the viewpoint of some sweaty gym-goer. Couple quick things we picked up, the handset features 3G, though the locales are European -- so we're ready for the bad news -- it may have GPS as Google maps is featured, plus it flips and looks sweet. We hoping we see more on this bad boy or perhaps even an announcement in the coming weeks. Video is available after the break.
