Dark Legacy Comics shows that a new hat can make everything better! Extra Life has a fool-proof system for managing loot disputes. GU Comics shows us the sexiness of man orcs. What? I am not biased. Just because my main is a sexy man orc means nothing. Richard is a fancy-pants warlock. NoObz is all about impersonation this time around. Stealth team combat on Teh Gladtiators! Sunday Morning Funnies: I'll tickle your soul
This week, we have things that suck, users and abusers, opportunists, resourcefulness, and even some creepy happiness. You know that when drawings get emotional, entertaining things happen. If you get bored, you can even read the handful of poor reviews last week's lot was given! The NPC rebellion still holds, and Dark Legacy Comics's characters must fend for themselves. Some people just don't like video games. Extra Life. Shakes and Fidget walk into a dangerous situation and Fidget tries some magery. You know him and magery. NoObz shows you how to subtly convert your friends to the Warcraft ways. Supermegatopia shows us daily quests from the other side of the fence. There are two great comics from Ding! this week. Have you ever wondered about some of those people who queue battlegrounds and then immediately leave? Are they all queue hoppers? Other people have been showing around their orphans. Some, have been using their orphans. Teh Gladiators are meeting up with some old foes, and Trevor seems unusually happy. You could almost say creepily so. Disgraph has given us part 2, part 3, and part 3.5 of the Orphan Saga! I'd watch the orphan, because he rocks. Also, it seems there may have been some errors last week when trying to read part one, which I sincerely recommend you do, as I laughed pretty hard. You should check out the latest LFG. As a side note, which is not necessarily showcased perfectly in this week's comic as much as some others, I've been reading this book. Sometimes I read, you see. At the recommendation of several friends, I picked up a Terry Pratchett book, The Colour of Magic. Now, to continue my ramble, I have always enjoyed LFG's warlock the most, as I'm sure others might agree. To my delight, there is a warlock of sorts in this book that seriously reminds me of this character. Not in any way, shape or form am I suggesting they are related, but if you like one, you should like the other. /ends tangent. Vote for the best by passing through the break.
Sunday Morning Funnies: Working together
This week we have some exciting developments, from the infiltration of a Horde town, to Sunwell progression, to a pet dragon. Sunday Morning Funnies: It's heating up
Although we are in an awkward period, with no new content to look forward to until Wrath of the Lich King lands, things are not as dull as one might think. With arena season 4 just around the corner, leaking expansion information, and the exploration and mastery of patch 2.4 content still underway, life in the World of Warcraft is still heating up. To add to the entertainment, we have a new comic or two, as well as several with plots that are gearing up towards something great. Node from Dark Legacy Comics has fun with the new(ish) mini-maps. Just Walk Away... from Extra Life. The Map from Shakes and Fidget. I Would Guess from the folks at GU Comics. LFG #138. Puns bring the silly. Murphy's Law from Monkey Punchers. Ding! Hunters are smooth talkers. The first match from Teh Gladiators kicked off, with a surprising twist. If you didn't catch our recent highlight of The Scout Report, then you might not have caught yourself up on the storyline. Trust me though when I say that it is worth it! Although I recommend pawing back to the beginning of the archive, for the current storyline to make sense, you need only start here. If you're ready to vote, head on through the break!

Sunday Morning Funnies has quite the line-up this week, with even more on the horizon for next week. As always, don't forget to leave a tip about a WoW-themed comic you know! A new WoW-themed comic from Action Trip. I would explain but I think I'll just let you click through and see for yourselves. Regrettable Choice from Extra Life. Just mentally scratch out "Youtube" and replace it with "WoW Community Forums." A New Beginning with Shakes and Fidget. It comes complete with gratuitous Bar Maiden. Feel like an economic squabble? GU Comics has Just a Little Suggestion for Activision and Gibson. If you'd rather chew on politics, LFG lays out the facts of a prison break. Manic Graffiti has some insight on the Frostmourne Replica. That's pretty self-explanatory, but if you'd like more information, check out our coverage and opinions. Ding! has an opinion on Tauren hunters. From Teh Gladiators comes an intro, or a prequel, to soon-to-come shenanigans. The Brotherhood of the Hat from The Adventures of Disgraph T. Dwarf. It looks like ze secret formula has once again worked, as Scott Johnson's Extra Life strip claimed the top spot for best webcomic of the week.Coming in second place was Dueling Analogs, while the frisky VG Cats take third. The plant has his time
We've played through enough Super Mario Bros. games to have learned that no pipe should be approached without caution. After a lifetime of suffering piranha plant attacks, always at the least opportune moments, we've trained ourselves to scrutinize every green tube before hopping over it. We'll sit there for up to two minutes, staking out the pipe to make sure there isn't a hidden fly trap hoping to dupe us with its delayed pattern. Sometimes, we'll even see their eyes poking out, anxious to see why we haven't jumped yet.These guys seem to pop up everywhere! In addition to their appearances in almost every Mario-related title over the past two decades, the piranha plants extended their roots to Tetris Attack and The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening! They've also been spotted in last Wednesday's Extra Life comic, illustrated by the always-awesome Scott Johnson. It's a predictable punchline, but no less hilarious because of it. We implore you to check it out!

It's the punchline, really. Steve Napierski's Dueling Analogs bundles a PS3 with the Wii and takes home the Quidditch Gold Cup for Webcomics. Have Mario on your toilet seat
We've posted crazy eBay auctions before, mostly concerning massive collections. This is a bit more unique.Extra Life's Scott Johnson has sketched his rendition of Mario on what we hope is a brand new toilet seat. Of course, the jokes regarding an Italian plumber (never seen on the job, mind you) immortalized on porcelain are far too many. Johnson is putting the seat on eBay; the proceeds go to the charitable cause of himself -- specifically, he's putting it towards Photoshop CS3. Current bid is $72 and the minimum for Photoshop is $199 for the basic CS3 upgrade. The time lapse of his creation, featured on Extra Life TV #9 , is embedded after break.

Proving that the quality of clever observation can trump the importance of finished, colorful artwork, Scott Johnson's Extra Life took first place in this week's webcomic wrapup for understanding the real winner of the so-called "console wars." Joystiq profiles Extra Life's Scott Johnson
Scott Johnson's Extra Life is a gaming strip that, much like Penny Arcade, is equal parts comic and blog. Johnson's embrace of the Internet and new media has put Extra Life into territories such as blogging, podcasting, and vidcasting. Johnson also contributed some spiffy Joystiq-themed banners for our trip to E3 last year. Chatting with us via e-mail, Johnson explains that there is, in fact, life outside of World of Warcraft.Who is the Scott Johnson outside of Extra Life?You mean my "Regular Life"? I am a 37-year old marketing director for a small web company in Salt Lake City. Happily married with three great kids. A video game freak at heart, beginning back in the 80's when I helped my Dad maintain three arcades and a burgeoning gaming business. People ask where I got hooked on gaming, and I tell them it in my basement, with free play turned on, burning the night away on Missile Command, Pac-Man and Burgertime, to name just a few. I was rather popular with the neighbors back then, as you might guess.

Even the Jolly Old Man in Red can't seem to keep up the demand of children on his Good List this year.
