Gaze of the Black Prince returns for the final time before WoD
If you haven't taken advantage of the buff before, or have a little bit of Black Prince reputation left to gain, then starting tomorrow you'll have the final chance before Warlords of Draenor to gain an extra 100% Black Prince reputation. The buff will run from next Tuesday through September 16th at 9am PDT. What's interesting is that the post says "before the Warlords of Draenor" expansion. It might be reading between the lines too much, but one has to wonder if some such buff will appear as a permanent feature of Warlords. That kind of buff would make sense for older content, and follow Blizzard's paradigm of making older content and rewards much more accessible. Blizzard's full post is as follows: Blizzard Entertainment Beginning Tuesday, September 2 at 10:00 a.m. PDT, through Tuesday, September 16 at 9:00 a.m. PDT, we'll be applying the Gaze of the Black Prince buff for the final time before the Warlords of Draenor expansion. This buff will increase the reputation gained with the Black Prince by 100%. It will also increase the chance of obtaining items from his foes needed as a part of the Legendary Cloak quest line including: the Secrets of the Empire, Sigil of Wisdom, Sigil of Power, or Titan Runestones. source
Gaze of the Black Prince returns
Beginning tomorrow, Tuesday July 15th, at 9:00 am PDT, the Gaze of the Black Prince buff will reappear on live servers. This game-wide buff increases reputation gains with The Black Prince by 100%, and increases your chance to earn Sigils of Wisdom, Sigils of Power, Secrets of the Empire, and Titan Runestones. The buff will last two weeks and end at 9:00 am PDT on July 29th. If you've got a toon working on that legendary cloak questline, you just might be able to push through and finish it up in the next two weeks.
