Tower of Guns, a bullet-hell-style shooter that's sprinkled with roguelike elements like procedurally-generated rooms and loot, will open fire on the PS3, PS4 and Xbox One (via the ID@Xbox program) early next year. The upcoming ports were announced in a post from Terrible Posture Games cofounder Joe Mirabello, which added that Grip Digital will be handling publishing duties. Cross-buy compatibility will be supported for the PS3 and PS4 ports, with the latter version running at 60 frames per second in 1080p. A Vita version sounds unlikely however – Grip Games' Jakub Mikyska explains that it was attempted, but Unreal Engine games don't run well on the handheld. Mikyska also noted that the device's CPU isn't quite up to handling Tower of Guns' clouds of projectiles, adding that even getting the PS3 version to work was difficult. PC users have been dodging Tower of Guns' bullets since March on Steam and GOG, with the latter store currently offering a 50 percent discount on the frenzied ascent. [Image: Terrible Posture Games]

Grip Games' acrobatic racer, Jet Car Stunts, is clearing the gap to PS3 and Vita in July for $7.99, with a "significantly upgraded" version due for PS4 in August. According to a post on the PlayStation Blog, anyone that straps into the PS3 and Vita versions will be offered a discount toward the PS4 counterpart, which will be "significantly upgraded" with boosted visuals and a 60 fps, 1080p view of floating track and geometry clusters. Both the base price and discount size for the PS4 version are still to be revealed, though. Regardless of the PlayStation device you use to flip through Jet Car Stunts, cross-play will be available, with leaderboards and the ghosts of top players also shared across the three platforms. Grip Games also has Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions planned, but Steam users don't have to have any of this waiting nonsense - Jet Car Stunts is revved and ready to go on PC for $9.99. • Joystiq Tiny Streams: The Impossible Game creates blissful frustration

The Impossible Game is not precisely named. Playing The Impossible Game is certainly achievable, and it is feasible to succeed at doing so. The name of publisher FlukeDude and developer Grip Game's new PC version of the popular mobile platformer refers more to the feeling you get while playing The Impossible Game. As you attempt repeatedly in vain to time rhythmic jumps over plots of spikes, madness sets in. This game isn't meant for conquering. It's only mission is to infuriate and beguile you, much as it does here in Joystiq Tiny Streams. Failure is assured for David Hinkle, and yet he keeps playing. Devilish, The Impossible Game. Devilish. If you want more Joystiq Streams action, we broadcast every Tuesday and Thursday at 4PM EST live on the Joystiq Twitch channel. [Image: FlukeDude]

Multiplayer brawl-'em-up Atomic Ninjas is on its way to the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita via PSN on October 8, developer Grip Games revealed today. Announced earlier this year, Atomic Ninjas is a competitive platformer in which players must use trickery and trappery to murder their opponents. Direct attacks won't damage enemy ninjas – you'll need to use environmental hazards and power-ups in order to lead your friends to their doom, putting a unique spin on the proceedings. The game offers a variety of local and online multiplayer modes, along with a bot-based single-player story mode. North American players will need lots of practice to keep up with the online competition next week, as Atomic Ninjas launches today in Europe.

Indie developer Grip Games has released its first footage from Atomic Ninjas, a competitive multiplayer platformer coming soon to the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita. Announced back in May, Atomic Ninjas challenges players to take out the competition using environmental hazards and traps placed throughout each level. Though the Atomic Ninjas are unable to harm each other directly, power-ups like rocket-powered jetpacks, grappling hooks, and telekinesis modules will allow you to turn the tide in battle, often with humorous and unexpected results. Atomic Ninjas will debut on the PlayStation 3 this summer, and a PS Vita version will launch soon afterward.

Foosball 2012 and One Epic Game developer Grip Games announced the upcoming PlayStation Network release of Atomic Ninjas, a multiplayer action game for the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita. Atomic Ninjas is a competitive 2.5D platformer in which up to four players compete in trap-filled arenas to be the last ninja standing. The twist is that players aren't able to harm each other directly; instead, you'll need to make clever use of environmental hazards, hiding spots, and item pick-ups in order to lead competing players to their doom. The game offers seven arenas and multiple gameplay modes, including a selection of team-based competitions. Creator Grip Games describes Atomic Ninjas as the theoretical love child of Fat Princess and Crash Commando -- a worrisome mental image, for sure, but potentially a worthwhile gameplay mix. Atomic Ninjas is set to launch this summer.%Gallery-188620%

Yes, Uncharted is lovely and Lumines is addictive, but we know what you really bought that Vita to see: miniature, simulated foosball. Finally, next week, you'll be able to see lovingly rendered fooses (?) on that gorgeous screen, as Grip Games' Foosball 2012 launches on PSN.The $7.99 Foosball 2012 purchase ($5.99 for Plus users) will get you not only portable Foosball 2012, but the PS3 version as well, allowing you to flip little wooden dudes in HD, with the option to use your Move controller. It even has Crossplay support, allowing you to continue your epic match on the go.

Foosball, the table game with a surprisingly rich history, is coming to PS3 and Vita this spring in the form of Foosball 2012. Developed by Grip Games, the game features a "World Tour" single-player mode with 30 locations, and multiplayer support for up to four players with online and couch co-op.It'll also support the PlayStation Move and allow players to control Foosball 2012 exactly like they "would control a real table football, with 1:1 movement precision." We don't think the Move warranty covers spinning the controller like a drunken madman and the ensuing breakage as it hits the floor. For those without Move, the DualShock 3 and Vita controls will be identical and the game supports cross-platform play (pay once, get both). Also, out of curiosity, we looked up how much a decent Foosball table costs, and they run from hundreds to thousands of dollars. We expect Foosball 2012 to cost significantly less.
