When it comes to achievements, World of Warcraft certainly has more than enough to satisfy any achievement-chaser out there. From achievements for questing, leveling, and PvP, to achievements for exploring, there's tons to do. Today's screenshot of an interesting out-of-the-way place was sent in to us by Joshua P. and likely wouldn't have come our way were it not for those achievements. He writes in to explain: "I love Nagrand. It was my favorite zone in the Burning Crusade and is one of the best Blizzard has ever made. I was excited when I got to complete the map of Nagrand for the 'World Explorer' achievement, and I even found a few spots I had never seen before, like this one tucked in the far reaches of the zone." From big to small, we love MMOs! If you'd like to share screenshots of some interesting places you've found in your travels, we'd love to see them. Send them in to us here at oneshots@massively.com along with your name, the name of the game, and a description of what we're seeing in the picture. We'll post it out here and give you credit for sending it in. %Gallery-85937%

With many dangers around every corner, one might think that there's rarely a peaceful moment in Age of Conan. However, as our regular contributor Joshua P. shows us, there are moments of peacefulness even while continuing one's travels towards destiny. He writes in to tell us a bit more about this One Shots that occurred several months ago: "After just hitting 60 it was time to move on to face the dangers of Thunder River, but getting there wouldn't be easy, so I enlisted the help of the trusty Aquilonian Pathfinder to lead the way. We set out over the bridge to leave Old Tarantia under the moonlight sky, and in no time we made it to Thunder River." Have you traveled the lands of Age of Conan? Would you like to tell us of your journey? We're always on the lookout for more luscious screenshots from the lands of Hyboria and beyond. Email those in to us here at oneshots@massively.com along with your name, the name of the game, and a description of what we're seeing. We'll post them out here for everyone to enjoy and give you the credit for sending them in. %Gallery-85937%

There are two reasons I love writing Choose My Adventure as much as I love One Shots. The first is that I get a chance to check out games I either haven't played in a while or perhaps haven't really ever played. The second is that it gives me the opportunity to run along with Massively readers! While I haven't had a chance to group up with Joshua P. as yet, he's decided to check out Vanguard as well! He writes in to tell us more about his experience: "Well continuing on with my adventures in Telon, I decided to make a druid. Let me be the first to tell you that Ms. Sviesa Solare is not someone you want angry at you. With the power of nature at her fingertips, she will be on you with the fury of a hurricane. Though this is just one of the quests on the Isle of Dawn, and her pitiful lightning spells and poisons are only good for slaying a few Hobgoblins right now... Thanks again Massively, for making me reconsider Vanguard!" We love to hear about the games you're playing. If you'd like to show off a moment of your MMO day, grab a screenshot and email it in to us here at oneshots@massively.com along with your name, the name of the game, and a description of what we're seeing. We'll post it out here for everyone to enjoy and give you the credit! %Gallery-85937%

Many say that music is one of the universal things that has the ability to cross language barriers, borders, and more. That's why we're not surprised at all that in a rich fantasy MMO like Lord of the Rings Online, music plays such a large part. If you haven't had a chance to catch a player-created concert in the game as yet, then we have a special treat for you today courtesy of occasional One Shots contributor, Joshua P. He's part of a group that occasionally "PUGs a band" in Lord of the Rings Online -- one such occasion spawning today's screenshot and bonus video, too! He writes in to explain: "I love the music system in LotRO. It's a lot of fun to get some friends together and play some music, and it's even more fun when you got a nice crowd to watch and cheer. We had a concert in the Bree-Town Auction House some time ago, and although it was unplanned, it went really well. We had quite a few people watching and we played for about five hours straight! I even got a video of one of the songs." You can check that out behind the break! If you'd like to send in a screenshot of your recent adventures in an MMO, it's easy to do. Just email them to us here at oneshots AT massively DOT com along with your name, the name of the game, and a description of what we're seeing. We'll post it out here and give you the credit. %Gallery-85937%

We're just now starting to see all the various different landscapes in Age of Conan's newest expansion Rise of the Godslayer thanks to readers like Joshua P. who keep sending their images in. When you add in the promised upcoming revisions to the game engine and DX10, we can only imagine how much more awesome Age of Conan is going to look in the future. For the here and now, though, we have Joshua's note on the above landscape: "They sent me on a quest through the northern half of the Gateway to Khitai, which involved fighting legions of Zang Xin beasts on the side of a mountain; then the lieutenant of their army. After he was down, I noticed a rickety old ladder leaned against the side of the cliff leading up to Cong the King of the Zang Xin, a giant brute that towered over my Priest of Mitra. It was an epic battle, but thanks to Mitra's blessing I was able to defeat the beast. He dropped a worthless green piece of armor that I couldn't even wear -- how disappointing. At least I got this nice view of the Great Wall from the top of the mountain!" Do you have screenshots of your favorite game that you haven't sent in to us yet? If so, why are you holding back? You should gather those up and send them to us here at oneshots AT massively.com. We can always use more screenshots to show off. %Gallery-85937%

With Eskil Steenberg's indie MMO, Love, set to launch in just a little over a month, he's been incredibly busy pushing out updates and refining the game further. The idea that one man has managed to bring a whole new form of MMO from idea, on through building all the tools, to creating the game, running the beta, fixing all issues, and soon -- publishing! Add to that how uniquely beautiful the procedurally-generated world of Love is, and you can see why we're glad to see players sending in One Shots from there. Today's image comes to us from Joshua P. who writes in to explain the scene: This is a screen shot taken just after Eskil sent out a graphics update. The Kadeshi Junction is one of the most beautiful places in the game. My character, Nathon (names are randomly generated), on Atlanta-1 server, had logged on and ran through legions of the genius AI to find a good spot for a settlement. I think this is it. Why not join the fun and send in your own screenshots to be featured here on One Shots? We can always use more to pick from. Just email them to us here at oneshots AT massively DOT com along with your name, the game its from, and whatever other information you'd like to give us. We'll post it for everyone to enjoy and give you the credit. %Gallery-85937% %Gallery-9798%

If there's one thing we love, it's a great sale. The huge MMO sale on Steam over the holidays has netted us a handful of screens from people who picked up new MMOs and are showing off their adventures. Take, for example, this hot EverQuest II screen, sent in to us by Joshua P. He writes in of his early experience: I decided to take advantage of that holiday sale on Steam a while back and nabbed EverQuest II with all the expansions for $5.00. I'm loving the game so far and finally settled down on Crushbone with my wizard Mirarii. This is a shot I took while exploring Lavastorm which has become one of my favorite zones. It was a rough journey though, had to swim through a stream of lava, then stealth through a bunch of drakes that were ready to tear me apart. While you're out having fun this weekend, why not grab a screen from your favorite MMO for us. We'd certainly appreciate it! Just email it to oneshots AT massively DOT com along with your name, the name of the game, and a quick description. Yours could be the next One Shots we feature!%Gallery-9798%
