Apple sells 1 million iPads in first 28 days (the magical revolution has begun)
[Stammy] Apple claims to have sold 1 million units of its "magical, revolutionary" iPad since it became available on April 3. If that wasn't enough sales news for you, Apple also says that "users have already downloaded over 12 million apps ... and over 1.5 million ebooks." Not quite a celestial steed's worth of return on investment, but presumably a healthy bounty no less. And what do the next 28 days have in store for the iPad? We have to imagine that some folks have been heeding our call for various games to make their way to the handheld. Where's that giant beer app we requested, ehhh? Someone get on that, stat!
