Remember last week, when I made a comment about how neat the little touches in Guild Wars 2's Gates of Maguuma release are? Stuff like a vine poking at a waypoint in Dry Top and making it spark? Hey, it was actually kind of cute! Aww, the big fella probably doesn't know what a waypoint is. Maybe he's hungry. Those aren't for snacking on, you silly vine. Right. Well, hide your Miracle-Gro because more vines are now spreading eastward across the waypoint network. As of this writing they've gotten as far as Lion's Arch, which as we all know hasn't seen enough trouble lately. Some of them have even fully entangled the floating waypoint doodlehoppers, growing larger in the process. So I may have been right about the snack part, but that doesn't exactly bode well. What exactly is going on?

Aion consistently amazes us with these video flybys of the various zones in the game world. Poeta, however, is exceptionally jaw-hinge-swinging due to its -- and we say this with a supreme amount of joy -- Final Fantasy XI and Guild Wars influences. Specifically, the music has a certain "Eff Eff" feel to it while many of the more tropical zones took us back to Maguuma Jungle in a wonderful way. Sitting in the most northwestern portion of the world, Poeta is certainly going to be high on our list of "must explore" zones once Aion is released into the wild stateside. Big Download has the video, and you can check it out just above this post, too.

We're not sure what may await the intrepid adventurer here, but it's darned pretty! Are you starting to think that One Shots is a Guild Wars-only feature? Well we only post what you send us, so if you want to see other games, send your screenshots and stories to oneshots@massively.com. You may see it posted here tomorrow! %Gallery-9798%
