Can you believe it? This week, we have a list of Wii releases -- an actual list, which means more than one title. Brilliant! At least, it seems that way until we head out to the shops and peer into our wallets, which immediately shrivel in the face of the epic list of games we want to buy. But we're greedy like that. So what's it for you this week? Will you bear the brunt of multiple game purchases? Are you going to wait awhile before making any decisions? Mario Party 8 Mortal Kombat: Armageddon Surf's Up Tamagotchi: Party On!

Wow, Tank Beat had completely slipped off our radar -- we're a little surprised to see it turn up this week. Pleasantly surprised, that is. We like ponies as much as the next girl, but when it comes to gaming, tanks tend to beat ponies. Maybe it's the big guns.Anything this week tickle your particular fancy? Let us know!DS releases in the US Pony Friends Surf's Up Tank Beat For the rest of the globe, check the lists after the jump.

This week is apparently the official week for movie tie-ins, because that's all we have coming out for our beloved DS here in the States. This week, Europe and Australia are the places to be, when it comes to games, and how often do you guys get to say that? Don't worry -- tomorrow, some delay will be announced for you guys, and it'll be back to business as usual. We don't poke fun at you. We're commiserating. Luckily, this week there are games slated to hit PAL regions that are worth the wait, particularly in Australia. On the shelves this week in the U.S.: Shrek the Third Spider-Man 3 For the rest of the world, check after the jump.

  • Samsung prepping Q1 Ultra for May

Alrighty, we've got ourselves a release window for the Q1 Ultra; Samsung's busting this thing out in May, which means we have about a month to figure out if we're willing to sacrifice the slickness of the onscreen keyboard foisted upon us by 1st generation UMPCs with the actual convenience of being able to type. While that added width might look a tad frumpy, what's clear is that the specs and connectivity here are enough to melt the hardest of hearts -- for instance, that 1024 x 600 LED backlit LCD isn't going to hurt anyone's feelings. As it so happens, May will mark the one year anniversary of the Q1, oh how time flies when you're stuck in unproductive tablet / handheld limbo.

Good job Gamespot! Um, we mean, bad, bad job Gamespot. MyGamerCard reports that Gamespot accidentally leaked a video of the information they received about a May 7 update for the Xbox 360's dashboard. Highlights include: 600 Windows Live Messenger contacts for your friends list Contact list will integrate Windows Live Messenger and show joinable session status Messenger contacts see what game you're playing and gamertag Marketplace has own blade, skin will change independent from theme Users will now see what achievement they've unlocked onscreen Low-power download mode followed by auto-shutdown You can watch partially downloaded video files Now we wait to see what Microsoft says about this video's authenticity. Maybe they'll just coyly not answer the question until May 7, jump out from behind the couch, and go, "SURPRISE! You had no idea, did you?"[Via Engadget, Thanks Justin]
