Let's face it: this year's recession-busting Black Friday sucked, featuring a few good deals but no single blockbuster worth getting up at 2:00 am to stand in the cold. Over the weekend we still maintained a bit of hope that Cyber Monday would bring something worth getting excited about, and while right now it looks like we're set for another disappointingly bargain-free day full of nothing but work and turkey sandwiches, one deal did catch our eye. Amazon has a Nintendo DS up for just $99; that's $30 less than you'll find it elsewhere -- if you can find it elsewhere. The catch is it's the "Limited Edition Pink Ribbon" version, and pink and white is not exactly the perfect color scheme for those about to rock. However, a deftly-placed AC/DC sticker might let you feel the joy of supporting a good cause this holiday season ($5 goes to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation) while also avoiding any embarrassing taunting from thoughtless friends.Update: This deal is done! Back up to $129.99. [Via I4U]

While we normally hear about new DS Lite SKUs fairly far in advance, Amazon sneaked a new version of Nintendo's money-printing handheld onto their virtual shelves today -- a Polar White console adorned with the universal logo for breast cancer awareness, a pink ribbon. The handheld retails for the standard price of $129.99, though Nintendo has agreed to donate $5 from every purchase to a cancer research charity, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, promising a minimum donation of $100,000. Sure, it may not be the most stylish DS Lite model to date -- but it's certainly the most altruistic.[Via DSF]

Amazon has just added a listing for a limited edition Pink Ribbon DS Lite, a Polar White console sporting the pink ribbon logo that has long been associated with breast cancer awareness and research.According to the blurb, it releases today, and Nintendo plans to donate $5 to cancer charity Susan G. As with most late-Septembers, we're beginning to see a few pinked gizmos roll out in support of the impending National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This go 'round, we've got a special edition of ATP's Petito USB flash drive that touts a "Pink Ribbon" motif and comes in 512MB, 1GB and 2GB flavors. Aside from being fairly tiny, each drive sold will help fund breast cancer research and support "education, screening and treatment projects" around the globe. The trio is available now at a variety of retailers starting at $19.99.
