Sony launches German and Italian PlayStation Blogs
Sony Europe announced today that its PlayStation Blog format has been localized for German- and Italian-speaking audiences. The two new sites will likely translate much of the content found on the English site, with extra posts that will be specific for the region covered. For Italiano -- blog.it.playstation.com For Deutsch -- blog.de.playstation.com For Spanish and French -- Ummmm... The French and Spanish blogs will allegedly launch "very soon." Considering significant portions of North America speak both of those languages, it'll be interesting to see if the US PlayStation Blog utilizes those translations.
European PlayStation Blog now live
SCEE has -- rather unceremoniously -- opened the European PlayStation Blog for business. It's been a long time coming and something European PlayStation fans have been clamoring for for quite a while now. We're very happy to see that the new blog not only mirrors the design of the US version, but that there will be back and forth between the site's contributing editor Charlotte Large (a.k.a. our new best friend) and the guys over at the US blog.Hopefully this official blog going live just prior to E3 means we'll be seeing lots of Europe-specific updates from the show. Check the it out for yourself and follow the new @PlayStationEU twitter account, too.
