Determining the origins of the huge chip on Joystiq's shoulder has proven difficult these last few years, but it's easy to suggest that it didn't come from a tall, cardboard tube. That's why we're not averse to posting unhinged Pringles commercials, least of all those that feature plenty of overt video game references. Head past the break and see if you can figure out where the various HUD elements and arbitrarily locked doors came from. And then see if you can figure out where that Rubik's Cube came from.[Via enthusiastic Lara Croft fansite; thanks, Jose]

I came across this disturbing Pringles commercial while searching for Second Life Machinima. A pair of lovebirds are on a romantic interlude, surrounded by dancing Pringles cans ... with feet. While it definitely overuses transitions, I find the entire concept of the video to be rather funny. There is apparently a video contest going on for Pringles in the UK. Crispy chip enthusiasts are invited to re-word a Christmas jingle to declare their love for Pringles and make a video about it. It can be up to 2 minutes long, but can only be in mov, .wmv, .asp, .avi, .mpeg, .mpg or .flv formats, and come in at 10mb or less. Contestants have until November 29th to submit their entries. You can find the official rules on their site.[Via YouTube]

Looks like everyone wants a piece of the Wii pie suddenly. First 7-Eleven got in the game with a giveaway, and now it's everyone's favorite stackable chip that's offering one hundred people a chance to play with a Wii. They're even pushing the fact that Nintendo has something for everyone, as the text on the giveaway page states, "This new gaming console from Nintendo is perfect for anyone and everyone -- no matter what age or skill level!" Indeed. Head on over and start filling out some forms. Play nice and read the rules first, though.
