Next week's Rock Band Weekly wants to take you to a gay bar. A gay bar, gay bar! Yes, Electric Six's "Gay Bar," which inspired a rather popular piece of World of Warcraft machinima (found after the break), makes its way onto the update.Also featured: a three-pack of Raconteurs tracks, along with the most ironic song ever: Alanis Morissette's ... "Ironic." Isn't it ironic that the track doesn't actually feature a single example of irony? Perhaps Morissette meant this to be some sort of "meta" irony (although some may disagree). Guitar Hero: World Tour unlock all songs code, more Hendrix coming
Activision has announced two track packs for Guitar Hero: World Tour -- one with songs by Jimi Hendrix and one with songs by the group the Raconteurs:Jimi Hendrix: "If 6 Was 9" "Little Wing" "Fire" (Live version) The Raconteurs: "Salute Your Solution" "Hold Up" "Consoler of the Lonely" Both packs will be $5.50. The Raconteurs songs can be purchased individually for $1.99, but not the Hendrix tracks. Raconteurs, more Hendrix coming to Guitar Hero World Tour next month
Activision has created a virtual guitar contest so blistering it would melt not only faces, but the very fabric of space-time. The publisher has announced that dueling track packs from Jack White-fronted The Raconteurs and Jimi Hendrix are coming to Guitar Hero World Tour next month. Here's how they stack up:The Raconteurs pack: "Salute Your Solution" "Hold Up" "Consoler of the Lonely" Jimi Hendrix pack: "If 6 Was 9" "Little Wing" "Fire" (Live version) Both will be available for around $5.50. Raconteurs tracks will be available for $1.99 by their lonesome, but it looks like you can only get Jimi in bulk. Which one will you grab?
