If Rambo: The Video Game's past trailers have you unable to look away, its rampage is set to start in Europe on February 21 for the 360, PS3 and PC, with its North American unhinging following sometime in Q1 of 2014. In addition to assuring yourself a copy of the game on launch day, pre-ordering Rambo will reward you with one of the 3-inch figurines shown above if you go through participating retailers (sorry, United States). No, you cannot just buy the figurines separately. The press release notes that while the game itself is complete, developer Teyon has begun work on "the game's first DLC expansion pack." It sounds like Rambo won't run out of targets anytime soon. [Source: Reef Entertainment]

Rambo: The Video Game has a new reel of gameplay available to watch. Really, we could just end this post there. But we won't, because then we couldn't tell you about the features being touted for the upcoming first-person shooter. For example, we couldn't tell you about the stealth bow-and-arrow takedowns. We couldn't tell you that the game features environmental destruction, including caves collapsing and huts being blown to smithereens. We couldn't talk about the QTEs that, even when performed early, seem to impose no punishment on the player. And we definitely couldn't talk about how much Rambo seems to hate helicopters. Seriously. Dude shoots a lot of helicopters. You'll be able to see for yourself when you Sylvester Stall-own Rambo: The Video Game later this year.

It's been a while since we heard from Reef Entertainment's Rambo: The Video Game, but now the developer is back with news of added authenticity. The game will now feature the voices of both star Sylvester Stallone and Col. Trautman actor Richard Crenna. How could Reef possibly afford this?"STUDIOCANAL, the owners of the Rambo films, searched their extensive archives and tracked down audio reels containing the original voice recording tapes for First Blood, First Blood Part II & Rambo III," a Reef rep said in the announcement. "These tapes provided us with the pristine vocal performances of Stallone and Crenna that we have included in the game." They were able to afford it by dealing with Sylvester Stallone in the past!Reef also shared the images in our gallery, the first two of which, we're told, are of gameplay.%Gallery-180217%

Gamescom attendees will be the first to sample Rambo: The Video Game, but in the meanwhile we all have some new screens showing off locales from each of the original trilogy, and a new teaser trailer, to check out. Rambo: The Video Game is an FPS that "matches the pace and action set-piece diversity of the films."%Gallery-161723%
