RIFT's Unicornalia returns through July 30
Did you miss out on RIFT's Unicornalia event last May? Well, it's back, according to a post on the fantasy MMO's website. Refugee unicorns from the Plane of Life require your assistance, and you'll need to "find the PRI representatives in your capital city to discover how you can help." Onyx Unicorn mounts are obtainable via rare drops from the Hooves and Horns event in Moonshade Highlands, as a reward for completing the Rainbow in the Dark achievement, or from the game's cash shop. Opal Unicorn mounts can be had from daily quests or the store. Unicornalia runs through July 30th.
RIFT's Temporal Flux returns through June 18
RIFT's Temporal Flux event has returned, and it's brought with it a new quest, vault, and mechanized mount. Players level 30 and up can speak to Planar Research Institute reps in Sanctum, Meridian, and Tempest Bay to pick up daily quests, while players of all levels can scour the game world for Temporal Flux rifts.
Trion teases RIFT Mayhem in Mathosia details, hosts bonus XP weekend
Trion has posted a bit more info about RIFT's upcoming Mayhem in Mathosia events. "Instead of an event that remains the same for several days, Mayhem in Mathosia will now travel through zones -- each phase will last two days and carry unique objectives, achievements, and loot including Lavender Hellbug and Sapphire Ki Rin mounts, Hellbug companion pets, and more," the company says. Phase one starts Friday, October 4th in Silverwood/Freemarch. In other Telaran news, there's currently a patron appreciation weekend happening, so be sure to log in and help celebrate the 2.4: Beyond Infinity release and soak up the 50 percent XP bonus!
RIFT's Mayhem in Mathosia event starts August 21
RIFT fans, mark your calendar for August 21st. Actually, go ahead and mark it for August 21st through September 4th while you're at it. The reason? Trion is putting on an event called Mayhem in Mathosia which basically amounts to massive planar invasions. Players may gather in Scarlet Gorge, Scarwood Reach, and Moonshade Highlands to save the world, and by doing so they may earn bonus loot drops, planar currency, and a new achievement.
Save RIFT's Silverwood and Freemarch cities starting June 27
Death is coming for the zones of Silverwood and Freemarch. And you, noble Ascended, are the only thing that can stop it. No pressure. RIFT is putting on a planar invasion event starting on June 27th. Rewards include bonus currency, loot, and new achievements tied to zone events. Special items may drop too, and you'll find a list of those on the announcement page at the game's official website.
