Alice in Chains and Breaking Benjamin (pictured doing their best Twilight pose) contribute several new tracks to the Rock Band Music Store next week. We ... sorry, we're just getting lost in those eyes and pale skin. It's mesmerizing. There are also some additions from English psychedelic band, Kula Shaker, and a value-priced track called "U Suck" by Just Kait -- which, knowing how the comments for RBW tend to lean, could very well be how many of you feel about the artist. Rock Band Weekly heads up to Canadia next week for a three pack from heavy metal band Anvil. There are also tracks from Brütal Legend "star" Jack Black's band Tenacious D. It'll actually be pretty quiet week, as the Wii doesn't add its usual mega-list of back catalog tracks and is in sync with the Xbox and PS3 versions. Check it all out after the break. Seriously, why are you even reading this? Go check out all the track coming to the various forms of Rock Band after the break. Select a platform below to view complete DLC listing:

Oh my, too many good tracks in next week's Rock Band Weekly to play off of for the basis of this post. Do we ask about breaking off a piece of our heart because of the Janis Joplin track, or do we go ask Alice when she's 10 feet tall? Ask her what? Exactly! A perfect psychedelic question. Now, feed your head by checking out the full list of tracks for all of the various Rock Band games after the break -- oh yeah, there's also the Gorillaz next week. It appears that Rock Band Weekly and Rock Band Wiikly will be combined into one post every Friday, along with Rock Band Unplugged's DLC, for the foreseeable future. We certainly appreciate being aware of future DLC in one concentrated dose that -- if injectable or smokeable -- would have us waking up on the bathroom floor of our hotel room in a puddle of our own sick. Rock on! Check out the full details after the break. Select a platform below to view complete DLC listing:

This week's Rock Band Wiikly was already partially announced with last week's Rock Band Weekly. Check out the full list after the break.

Rock Band Wiikly's tap has flowed with massive quantities of tracks for weeks now. Sure, the releases aren't exactly synced with Rock Band Weekly, but the back catalog of Rock Band DLC is certainly being filled in. Our concern that it would take until mid-2010 for the full catalog sync is slowly dissipating. This week's update of 16 tracks to the Wii music store includes the Pearl Jam tracks from a couple weeks back, along with a whole mess of other stuff. Find the full list after the break.

Rock Band Wiikly's main attractions this week are the geeks who became chic and the manorexic musical visionary-turned-slice-of-beefcake. Weezer, Nine Inch Nails and many other bands are added in this week's update of 16 tracks to the Wii music store. Find the full list after the break. Individual songs (200 Wii points apiece) "One of THOSE Nights" -- The Cab "Hands Down" -- Dashboard Confessional "California Über Alles" -- Dead Kennedys "Holiday in Cambodia" -- Dead Kennedys "Police Truck" -- Dead Kennedys "All Right Now" -- Free "Burn" -- Nine Inch Nails "Capital G" -- Nine Inch Nails "Last" -- Nine Inch Nails "They Say" -- Scars on Broadway "This is it" -- Stained "Electric Crown" -- Testament "Yomp" -- thenewno2 "Dreamin'" -- Weezer "The Greatest Man That Ever Lived" -- Weezer "Troublemaker" -- Weezer All tracks are masters and will be downloadable tomorrow, June 23.

    06.15.2009

This week's Rock Band Wiikly brings tracks from a few artists who recently performed at the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Tennessee. Keeping up with the latest tradition for Rock Band tracks released on Wii, along with the Bonnaroo songs, there's 18 more tracks that were previously released on other consoles in the mix. If Harmonix keeps up this recent pace of Wii-lease, it might have full sync across consoles by the holidays.

    06.08.2009

With no real change to Rock Band Weekly since the Iron Maiden announcement a couple weeks ago, we gave the long-running feature a break last week during the E3 madness. However, the newbie, Rock Band Wiikly, still has to work it this week. Not only did it receive the aforementioned Iron Maiden content, but an additional 13 tracks previously released on the other consoles. Don't forget to download "Charlene" from Stephen and the Colberts for free. Check out the full list after the break.

This week's Wii Rock Band DLC offering not only delivers the eclectic mix from last week's Rock Band Weekly announcement, but also adds ample variety of its own. With 25 tracks available, across many different genres of music, there's likely something in the list to satiate the DLC track hunger. This is the dim sum of Rock Band Wiikly announcements. Check out the full list after the break.

Toby Keith has an even stranger line dancing partner for Rock Band Wiikly than he did for the regular update a couple weeks back. Joining him for the Wii upload will be a Mr. Malmsteen, first name: Yngwie. Poor guitarists, prepare for blisters or lube those fingers up properly ... but not so much that the controller flies out of your hands and into the TV.Individual songs (200 Wii points apiece): "Beer for My Horses" -- Toby Keith "I Love This Bar" -- Toby Keith "She's a Hottie" -- Toby Keith "Should've Been a Cowboy" -- Toby Keith "Who's Your Daddy?" -- Toby Keith "How Do You Like Me Now" -- Toby Keith "Warriors of Time" -- Black Tide "Waking The Demon" -- Bullet For My Valentine "New Slang" -- The Shins "Caprici Di Diablo" -- Yngwie Malmsteen "Damnation Game" -- Yngwie Malmsteen "Red Devil" -- Yngwie Malmsteen All tracks are masters and will be available for download tomorrow, April 21. It appears Rock Band Wiikly is getting comfortable with its one week delay of Rock Band Weekly DLC, with this week seeing a rather eclectic collection of additions to the Wii's music store. Individual songs (200 Wii points apiece): "Don't Stop Believing" - Journey "Heartbreaker" - Pat Benatar "Geraldine" - Glasvegas "C'Mon C'Mon" - The Von Bondies "I Can't Keep My Eyes Off of You" - Spongebob Squarepants "The Best Day Ever" - Spongebob Squarepants "Where's Gary?" - Spongebob Squarepants "Rock 'n' Roll Star" - Oasis "DOA" - Foo Fighters "This is a Call" - Foo Fighters "Times Like These" - Foo Fighters The tracks will be available tomorrow, April 7, and videos for all of this week's tracks are after the break.

The sync is back on between Rock Band Wiikly and Rock Band Weekly. There was a little hiccup last week, but it appears Wii rockers are ready to start receiving the "new" DLC again. 02.23.2009

This week's Rock Band Wii music store update contains The Cars' 1978 self-titled debut record. Each track is sold separately, so it'll cost $3 more than if rockers had purchased the album on Xbox 360 or PS3.The Cars (200 Wii points apiece) "Good Times Roll" "My Best Friend's Girl" "Just What I Needed" "I'm in Touch with Your World" "Don't Cha Stop" "You're All I've Got Tonight" "Bye Bye Love" "Moving in Stereo" "All Mixed Up" The tracks will be available tomorrow, February 24, and videos for all this week's songs are after the break. This is the last week in February and we've yet to see indication that the Wii's sync with "new" Rock Band Weekly tracks will still occur this month. Currently, the Harmonix press release notes it'll happen "soon." We're following up with the developer to see if there's a new sync window.

Selections from Nirvana's breakthrough album, Nevermind, are offered up as this week's content for the Wii's Rock Band music store. As we pointed out last October, when these tracks released on XBM and PSN, notable songs from Nevermind that are unavailable to download are "Come as You Are" and "Smells like Teen Spirit." Both "In Bloom" and "Drain You" are available on Rock Band and its sequel, respectively. Nirvana (200 Wii points apiece) "Breed" "Lounge Act" "On a Plain" "Polly" "Something in the Way" "Stay Away" "Territorial Pissings" Videos for the tracks can be found after the break. 02.09.2009

Rush's Moving Pictures album is this week's regurgitated Rock Band content for the Wii. Well, that's not exactly accurate, as Wii rockers will have to pay $2 for each track, rather than pay $11 for the whole package, like Xbox 360 and PS3 owners. Rush - Moving Pictures (200 Wii points apiece) "Tom Sawyer" "Red Barchetta" "YYZ" "Limelight" "The Camera Eye" "Witch Hunt" "Vital Signs" Videos for the tracks can be found after the break. We're still waiting to hear when "new" Rock Band Weekly tracks will become available for Wii, but last we heard, it should still be sometime this month.
