Yes, it was a Cataclysm feature that continued in Mists of Pandaria's development process, and now it's back again for the ramp up to Warlords of Draenor -- the official Screenshot of the Day. We're actually up to five of them so far but the above scene from the steps of the Temple of Karabor is my favorite. Still, this picture from Frostfire Ridge (I presume) definitely interests me as well. Looking forward to combing over the pictures obsessively for the next few months.

With all of the Mists of Pandaria news floating around today, it's easy to forget the joys of pure, simple eye candy. Blizzard has continued to update its Mists of Pandaria screenshot today and throughout the last week. Today's screenshot shows a statue honoring one of the first pandaren explorers to venture beyond the borders of Pandaria and his riding turtle, which would eventually grow to become the Wandering Isle, the pandaren starting zone. %Gallery-150647% It's open warfare between Alliance and Horde in Mists of Pandaria, World of Warcraft's next expansion. Jump into five new levels with new talents and class mechanics, try the new monk class, and create a pandaren character to ally with either Horde or Alliance. Daily Cataclysm screenshots for the weekend
This weekend's set of Cataclysm screenshots from Blizzard is in our gallery, with a shot of Blackrock Caverns shown above. Look at those adorable puppies! Maybe this is Magmadar's long-lost ladyfriend. And those corpses ... looks like in Cataclysm Azeroth, dog loots you. The other shot for the weekend is, unsurprisingly, another shot of the new Blasted Lands quest hub from a different angle. The latest Cataclysm screenshot from Blizzard is shown above, featuring a look at ... some fish, I guess. They're far more detailed than the schools of fish we see in-game today, which should make underwater adventures much more enjoyable visually. Also, I can't remember the name for those gross critters that look like rolled up tongues shoved into elongated ice cream cones. It's driving me insane.
