Two popular games on iOS have found their way to the Mac App Store recently. First up, Samurai II: Vengeance was recognized as a TUAW Daily App a while back, and it's still a great game with solid action gameplay, a great graphical look and plenty of polish. Those features have all made it to the official Mac App store release, and for US$13.99, you can play the game on a big screen at 60 FPS with actual buttons (probably a keyboard and mouse). Supermarket Mania is another popular iOS game in the time management vein, and its sequel (originally a PC title) is now on the Mac App Store. The game sends protagonist Nikki to "Tinseltown," where she's got to organize and grow a supermarket while making sure the shelves are stocked and the customers are happy. Supermarket Mania 2 is $6.99 and is a nice addition to the time management genre for Apple's growing platform.

After the last few years, we don't know how to react to the kind of wealth on the Wii and DSi Shops today. It's too much to process all at once. WiiWare demos are back, offering a chance to check out Bit.Trip Fate, ThruSpace, And Yet It Moves and Jett Rocket with no financial outlay. There's a new Tetris game on DSiWare. There's even a Virtual Console game! How is this possible?%Gallery-107999%

G5 Entertainment's Supermarket Mania is leaping from iPhone and PC to the PlayStation Minis program. While it may not be the Supermarket Sweeps game we've always dreamed of, it does offer casual gamers the chance to become a supermarket manager. Players will have to keep the shelves well stocked and serve customers, "including hard-to-please celebrities." (Does that mean you'll have to keep stock of illegal drugs?) Supermarket Mania will be available in North America for $4.99 on May 18th, and in Europe for €4.99 on May 26th. Check out a trailer after the break.
