When it comes to supervillains in Champions Online it doesn't get any better than Foxbat. We're especially fond of characters that break the fourth wall in a light-hearted manner, more-so when they're complete loons as well. If you're unconvinced of the amazing-ness of Foxbat then let us persuade you otherwise. He is a master of forty-seven different martial arts but instead prefers to shoot people with his patented Foxbatgadget the Amazing Ping-Pong Ball Gun. This "amazing" piece of technology is capable of shooting all types of ammo, which apparently range from irradiated plutonium to uh, vanilla custard? He also once attempted to steal the Empire State Building, although was unsuccessful due to logistical issues.Yeah, everything about this guy is comically-charged. His outfit, smile. gadgetry and all-around crazed-yet-dashing demeanor make us love him so much. Yet we know that when the time comes, we'll have to defeat (or try to defeat) Foxbat in combat, oh well.Designs like Justiciar, Mind Slayer and Foxbat are really helping to showcase the Champions Online character roster. We can only imagine what the coming months hold for us at this point.

  • We didn't Order Up! this stale video

We really want to be charmed by Order Up!, but this gameplay video was more sleep inducing than a lecture on the merits of drying paint. We just can't help but feel a bit of a "been there, done that" vibe when it comes to this upcoming SuperVillain Studios title. The promise of restaurant management elements seem like the game's one saving grace, as it sets Order Up! apart from the Cooking Mamas and Diner Dashes of the world. We would have much rather preferred to see a gameplay video of how the sim stuff works. However, since the game did show some initial promise, we'll approach it with an open mind when it releases in late July.On a related note, Amazon and other retailers list a $39.99 price point for Order Up! Do you think that's still too high for the title, or does $40 hit your virtual restaurant-loving sweet spot? Gallery: Order Up!

  • Ankylosaur, a supervillain for hire

What happens when a down and out of luck thug is accidentally shipped a set of super-advanced prototype armor? Well Ankylosaur happens, actually. Although it took Paul Bressler a very long time to even learn how to properly say "Ankylosaur" he's still a terrible force to be reckoned with when operating the suit. A criminal for hire who moonlights as his own boss from time to time, Paul is the type of delinquent who grew up learning to hate authority figures. As such, we suspect that when players are confronted with this supervillain in-game they'll want to remember this piece of information. We're really loving the fact that there's a lot of supertech-powered characters being revealed on the Champions Online website. There's bound to be plenty of variety as time goes on, but we're just happy to know that the technology types are definitely in there -- it's quite satisfying. Now we just want to see Justiciar and Akylosaur butt heads in a trailer!

G4's X-Play managed to get some time in with Order Up!, which turned out to be the rumored project of SuperVillain Studios. As you can see in the video above, it has a very charming artistic style and looks to offer the same kind of fun found in other casual titles such as Cooking Mama.Anyone liking what they see here? Think this is a title that should be avoided?%Gallery-21449%[Via Go Nintendo]

We were wondering when we'd find out what SuperVillain Studios was up to on the Wii, but we never thought it'd be a restaurant game akin to Diner Dash. Hearing that might immediately turn you off, but we think Order Up! actually looks pretty interesting. Not only do you perform motion-controlled, Cooking Mama-style recipes (only with fast foodstuffs), but you also have to manage the restaurant in this simulation game. There's 4,000 lines of dialog included in the game, too, which (based on the screens) we hope is humorous. Our only complaint is that this might be better suited for WiiWare, but if it's available at a budget price (i.e. not $50), we might look into getting this. If your interest is piqued as well, keep your eyes peeled for the game's June 22nd release date.%Gallery-21449%

  • SuperVillain rumored to be working on Wii games

SuperVillain Studios, whom PSP owners might know as the developers of Dungeon Siege: Throne of Agony, might be working on two games for the Wii. Kotaku reports that the studio has been increasing its manpower in the hopes that at least one of the two games will be released this year. While we think SuperVillain has the potential to bring us some great titles, we'd rather the studio not rush them. One of the criticisms of Throne of Agony is that it was too unpolished. PSP Fanboy's own Andrew Yoon enjoyed the game, for example, but felt it had too many flaws. A lot of issues could have probably been fixed or avoided if Throne of Agony had spent some more time in development. Still, we've seen that SuperVillain is capable of making fun games, so if this rumor is true, we definitely consider it to be good news.

  • Which supervillain are you?

In keeping with my fascinating with my mastermind in City of Villains of late and her growing ninja horde, I thought I would share with you a cute little quiz linked from Adventures in Azeroth. Normally this is the sort of thing people would post on their Myspace, but seeing as how mine is woefully neglected and I just plain like you guys better, I thought I would share it with you?Who am I most like? Mystique, which makes me all kinds of happy. She actually one of my favorite comic book characters anyway, and now I realize exactly why: we're connected, she and I, we share the same qualities, the same mysterious past, the same blue skin...well not that, but you get the idea. And I even collect the comic book about her (okay, so I'm that kind of geek, I'll admit it.) Take the quiz and tell us which supervillain you are most like.
