Do you want to be in the first wave of Transformers Universe testing? Then go sign up right now. No, don't finish reading the rest of this article, sign up right this moment. The first beta event is apparently taking place this weekend, March 15th and 16th, and invitations are being handed out according to the highly advanced metric of "the first people who ask for it get it." So go sign up, we'll be here when you get back. If you don't get in, you can still entertain yourself with two new character reveals past the cut. Front-Line is a big old hulk of an Autobot warrior with twin axes, a chaingun, and a massive hammer for use against the Decepticons. Conduit, meanwhile, takes care of the Deception medical needs while also providing fire support with his ranged rifle. You can take a look at both videos embedded just past the break. Amidst all of the toy previews and Hall of Fame inductions at this year's BotCon, there's another element for fans -- an early look at Transformers Universe, the upcoming MMO developed by Jagex. And while the game is certainly not in a playable state just yet, the fine team at Tformers.com has put together a video interview with executive producer Kris Jones, showing off the early stages of character creation and discussing the game's future for development. Transformers Universe is confirmed to take place within the current "Prime" continuity, but as Jones explains, the staff has been working closely with Hasbro to try to include as many signature characters as possible from the franchise's 27-year history. There's talk about hundreds of different parts for characters to choose between for customization as well as the possibility of fans uploading parts and decals to help personalize individual Transformers. Prospective fans should take a look at the full interview -- it's an early look but the sort of thing that should be of significant interest to longtime franchise enthusiasts.

While Going Rogue was initially set to go live today, those sneaky, sneaky folks at Paragon Studios let it go live last night to the delight of many City of Heroes fans. While today's screenshot doesn't really have much of anything to do with the expansion, it does spotlight one hero who sacrificed himself for the good of Earth and wound up an evil mutation thanks to the Rikti. This super-heroic image comes to us courtesy of @ChaoticSunder, who writes in: "[Here's] a screenshot of Honoree, the Rikti secret weapon once known as Hero 1, confronting a group of meddling Earthers sent to prevent another glorious invasion. [This was taken during the] grand finale fight of a Lady Grey Task force in City of Heroes by the heroes of the Hyperion and Arc of Dawn supergroups. The recent graphics update helped make this painting-like, unretouched screenshot possible. While you're out zooming around Paragon City or the Rogue Isles, why not snap a screenshot for us? We're all about the heroics! Email those in to us here at oneshots@massively.com along with your name, the name of the game, and a description of what we're seeing. Feel free to include your global handle, supergroup, etc. as well. We'll post it out here for everyone to enjoy and give you the credit. %Gallery-85937%
