The Adventures of Tintin, as seen on 3DS
We've seen suspiciously little of Ubisoft's Adventures of Tintin tie-in game, which is due for release on December 6. We've seen absolutely nothing of the 3DS version until today, when Ubisoft sent out this trailer. And, thanks to the convention of putting gameplay footage of handheld games on a tiny (simulated) screen within the trailer, it's pretty hard to see what is there. But squint hard enough, and you'll see what looks like a ton of variety. There are side-scrolling segments, 3D segments, puzzles, platforming, fights, and, of course, cramming a dog into a vent.
Ubisoft details Adventures of Tintin: The Game, has Kinect and Move support
Ubisoft has handed out some details on the upcoming game based on the Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson-produced Adventures of Tintin movie. A trailer and short segment of gameplay was shown at the company's E3 conference this afternoon, featuring both a singleplayer campaign that will take players to famous locations in Tintin's world, as well as co-op and competitive gameplay modes with sword combat, aerial fighting, and driving sequences. The game is being developed by Ubisoft Montpellier, the same studio currently working on Rayman Origins and Beyond Good and Evil 2, and is set to come out for consoles and PC later on this holiday season.
