As was mentioned less than twenty-four hours ago, a hunk of new EndWar downloadable content has made its way to the XBLM and has got EndWar gamers tickled. In a good way. As far as specifics go, the 442MB EndWar Escalation Expansion costs 800 MS points and includes four new Skirmish missions (firebase in Kursk, assault on Devon beach, raid on Rota naval base, and conquest of Dorsey Knob) as well as three unit upgrades and some new achievements achievables. Yes, achievables! Now, to decide if all that EndWar goodness is worth the 800 points.

We knew things had to slow down at some point, and it looks like that "some point" would be now. This week's PSP releases offer a bit of Tom Clancy's patented war thrills, while Europe gets a slightly early taste of WWE's latest.NA Games: Tom Clancy's EndWar EU Games: Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 Tom Clancy's EndWar WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2009 Asian Games: No new releases Surprisingly, we're writing the "no new releases" line for Asia. Who would have thought that was actually ever going to happen?

Here are the Trophies for Tom Clancy's EndWar. The RTS game places you in 2020 during World War III. You can play as three factions: the Russian Spetsnaz Guards Brigade, the European Federation Enforcers Corps and the United States' Joint Strike Force. Sounds like typical Tom Clancy fare to us. The game will be out November 4th in the US and the 7th in Europe. View Trophy List | Visit Trophy Portal

Although we missed the presentation ourselves, the gang at Robot Martini caught Ubisoft's demonstration of Tom Clancy's EndWar audio power at PAX 2008. To do so, they pitted two parrots against each other in a multiplayer match. Check out the video yourself after the break. When Polly says "deploy tanks," you take cover and hide your crackers (har).

As clocks struck midnight around the globe, Ubisoft began turning on servers and releasing beta keys for its upcoming console RTS Tom Clancy's EndWar. Due to the staggered release of keys for the small beta (speculation is only 15,000 testers were selected) some of the testers were quick to proclaim the release a disaster; as it turns out Ubisoft was intentionally releasing the beta in waves throughout the evening and early morning.Tom Clancy's EndWar Beta, which clocks in at a sizable 2.98GB, gives players the chance to play through one of three planned online modes in 1v1 or 2v2 matches and is planned to run until July 7.

The beta will feature online play only for matches of 1v1 or 2v2. Gamers who participate in the beta will receive exclusive Gamerpics, which will be released to testers at a later time.Signing up for the beta requires a non-disclosure agreement that disables participants from disclosing any information, not currently available, to any third-party source. Tom Clancy's EndWar has a new official blogging home over at IGN and with the dev team's first blog we get a quick and dirty rundown of some of EndWar's key facts, figures and features. Some tidbits we've known (voice commands) and some we didn't (the game is set in the war riddled year 2020). We're especially intrigued by the fact that EndWar will be able to render over 1000 units all at once in ginormous battles as well as the fact that they'll be including around forty different battlefields when the game releases. To us, forty sounds like enough variety to kick off the RTS fun with no problem. Make the jump to get the lowdown, retain some EndWar facts and maybe learn a thing or two about Russian Spetznaz Guard Brigades. Jump away ...
