NEC has announced that the plastics on their latest line of laptops will be formulated from completely
biodegradeable materials, such as corn. These corn-based laptops (corntops, if you will) will still surely outlive
their usefulness as computers (we'll try not to crack any jokes about playing
corn Korn cds in your corntop), and NEC aims to have 10%
of their line biodegradable by 2010.
